Phrase it differently. You have been an independent consultant for awhile now. You are so good at what you do, that you have been able to quickly solve multiple client problems quickly and efficiently.

I didn't see this posted but the reason content providers are afraid of the move to Internet TV is mostly about the content you don't watch. If everyone has control over what they watch and when they watch it, how will they make money from the junk you don't watch?
The average cable user only watches about 9 channels from the hundreds of channels being delivered to their home. If people only watch on a per episode basis, they lose all the advertising dollars and subscription fees from the crap channels. This scares the hell out of them as it means they lose money. They also know people either won't pay or they will only pay a very small amount for this content. You have to admit that doesn't Apple TV seem a little high priced?
The internet TV space should get very interesting as they learn how to monetize this new area. I just hope they realize that if the users don't agree with the price, they will get the content for free one way or another.
I am running Citrix Xen server at home in my virtual test environment. I find it has great compatibility with cheap whitebox hardware, is fast, and has good management tools.

VMware ESXi was too much of a challange to get it to work on cheap hardware.
One thing I do not see pointed out is the killer app for tablet devices: accurate hand writing recognition. Without a keyboard you need a method to quickly enter pages of text. After using a Tablet Kiosk http://www.tabletkiosk.com/ i400D slate for a year now, I have found it to be completely usable in the field without a keyboard using Windows 7 hand writing recognition. Even after a fresh install, I find the accuracy to be fantastic!
Vista, Linux, and XP have unusable handwriting applications.
I will admit that I do plug a keyboard into it once I get back to the office- anyways check it out.
disclaimer: I do not work for Tablet Kiosk or Microsoft.
This is Microsoft Covering Their Ass - this patent combined with project NATAL is about making sure Fatty Mcfatterson doesn't have a heart attack while punching the monkey. They will gracefully make the game easier so it doesn't stress out the player.
Intel doesn't want Atom to succeed. Rumor has it that Intel is purposely shipping a low volume of the Atom chips to drive consumers to higher power and higher margin chips.
What would happen to the Home PC user when they find they can browse the net on a cheap, low power, Atom chip?
Today is the last day for the Macromedia Max conference. I had some coworkers attend the conference. Before they left, I asked them to ask the developers directly what the deal is. Hopefully some good will come out of it.
I use the Google tool bar is for the word search buttons that are created when I enter a search string in. I find a high value in this by quickly locating the keyword I was searching for in the document with just a click of a mouse. I wish firefox would enable this as a feature in their status bar or some other unused area of the screen. Anyways, I look forward to the release.
Why oh why on these new small form factor devices do they insist on keeping legacy ports such as serial or the old PS2 style mouse and keyboard? Either make it small and get rid of them or put something useful such as firewire there instead.
Its finally nice to see a company moving the pc in the right directions-small, fast, and quiet. For 20 years the desktop computer has stayed about the same size...its 2005 for crying out loud! Lets get some innovation!
This product is already dead since everything is moving to multithread/multi-processors. You will just be able to dictate cpu #4 to performing physics calcuations.

Did they fix MAAS yet? Ubuntu MAAS has been broken since the attempted 2.0 release on 16.04. Still in RC. What the heck happened here?

Everyone is forgetting Google already has an established method to opt-out: http://www.theonion.com/video/google-opt-out-feature-lets-users-protect-privacy,14358/ The opt out village!

No one has mentioned http://www.uosecondage.com/ ? Their main goal is to replicate the best times in UO's history.

What's up with that?

Actually it is best to use as many as you can when securing your motherboard to the case to improve electric grounding.
