Yeah, for sure. I was in a server and somehow my shooting sped up (shotgun reloading was instantaneous) and I killed 3 people in about 8 seconds, one of whom was the admin. I then got kickbanned for 'speed hacking'. I hope they've fixed up those random bugs because as fun as it is to play GTA online, there will always be whiny admins who can't accept that someone beat them without cheating, and the less excuses the mod gives them to accuse us, the better.
I love how MS airbrushed Apple out of the portable music world. The whole line about online music stores that misses out the biggest, iTunes, is hilarious really. The fact that MS won't acknowledge their main competitor's existence (let alone superiority in some cases) suggests to me that they're probably going to release a music player themselves soon.
I live in the UK and I can vouch for that, but I don't think there's been incidents of kids (or teenagers, whatever) shooting up their schools here. Have you seen Michael Moore's Bowling For Columbine? It highlights a lot of the flaws in the system that make obtaining guns really easy (comparatively) in America.
What I meant was, kids have been able to buy guns even if they aren't of age. Kinda like when you sneak into an R rated movie when you're 15 only the violence onscreen is fictional.
I love how every time there's a school shooting the figures of authority rush to blame Marilyn Manson, Grand Theft Auto or rap music. Does nobody in power realise that there is a problem that kids of 16 or even less can walk into stores and buy guns? Games don't kill people, bullets do.
In that sense you're right, but overall when comparing the two in terms of features and user-friendliness (from a new customer's perspective) I think Google wins out, I don't think Yahoo could really catch up now. But competetion is good, for sure.
People trying to create revolutionary new keyboard/mouse designs should just give it up, nobody will be easily persuaded to change even if they know that their current setup is harmful to them. Society today tells us that almost everything gives out a cancer risk, radioactive waves, or psychic mind control beams, so people have become disillusioned to it all.
man, it's big brother all over the place today. When I buy non-epson cartridges my printer knows and tells me I shouldn't use them (a full set of epson catridges = ~£66, non brand version are ~£16), now this is going on? the world scares me

Oh god, they've turned 1337 into a corporate buzzword. I can see it now: 'M1cr050f7 1337: Promoting an individual creative environment that eludes conformity'.
The guy knows what he's doing, that's for sure, even though the site itself is down he's filled the homepage with ads in anticipation of traffic. He's a real entrepeneur!
At least it wasn't those photos of Bill in that magazine. Jeeze.. I still have nightmares.
at least nobody can get modded offtopic..

I was referring to the case of gun crime as a whole. The people pointing the finger love to generalise, why can't I?

They still won't be as good as Google.. stop trying!
as well as whether or not you're from a grammar school background, of course.
Cambridge rejected me after interview, and yet these geeks get slashdot time AS WELL AS a place at the university? No fair!
the less people that get to see this, the better.
I now eagerly await some script kiddie writing a 'Freedom Virus' that posts anti-French messages all over your machine.

He'll never outgrow old Bullroarer Took!
That's a nice get-out clause they've left themselves with there in case anybody suggests their software sucks.
or Ecks Ecks Ecks Ecks.

Didn't they do something like this with the Trillian protocol on MSN Messenger? They hate third parties.
