Just because it's not the government censoring, doesn't mean its not censorship.
It is just that the government is not allowed to censor, whereas anyone else is(or at least that's the impression I get, I am not American).
If you were using python, you could do something like:
while not wannabreak: for j in range(0, jmax): # inner loop if wannabreak: break else: # outer loop
But really, breaks are worse than a goto used in this context anyway. A break is just a goto without an easy to find label, so the goto makes it easier to read.
I can't stand the Delphi IDE. The Delphi debugger though is excellent, except for exception handling.
Though its all personal preference anyway, plus I'm stuck using Delphi 7, which is a bit out of date
now.
There have already been 7.
Marooned on Mars, The Earth Explodes, Keen Must Die!, Keen Dreams, Secret of the Oracle, The Armageddon Machine, Aliens Ate my Babysitter.
I thought you could have an advanced start from Civ I, or at least Civ II. Granted, it was just the AI
had a couple of turns for you at the beginning, during which time they would build your capital in some
crappy spot and maybe build a second city with overlapping resource squares, but it was definitely there.
especially since they're a mere fraction of the sales of the PS2, or even of the XBox and GameCube.
According to vgcharts, the GameCube sold 21m units, the XBox 25m, and the
Wii 6m. That's a pretty big fraction considering it's only been out less than 5 months.
If Microsoft introduced an X-remote controller they would be hard pressed to get games with it to sell. Not enough of their market will buy one to make it worthwhile for developers to use it. Never mind that. Put yourself in a 3rd-party developer's shoes. You want to make a game that uses wiimote functionality. Why on earth would you choose to use the 'X-remote', which a small percentage of the userbase has, instead of the Wii, which 100% of the userbase has?
It's rare that I can buy a new PC game, and not have to make some tweaks/install new drivers/perform a rain dance to get it to run right the very first time. Am I the only person on slashdot who hasn't had to jump through hurdles to get games running?
Back in the days of DOS, sure, but these days just pop in the disc, click install, and run.
Second, there needs to be a framework for loading/caching game data on the fly. No more installing 5+GB of data. I want to drop the disc in and go. No thanks. Needing to change discs all the time is the thing I hate most about console gaming.

Where are you getting this? I can't find anything that says an acronym needs to be pronounced as a word.

Excite Truck can use music from the SD card, so I'd say that 3rd parties can use it, at least to some degree.

Heh. Now that you mention it, I paid more for my DS than I did for my TV.

No, they live under bridges. So you'll be the first to go!
Although Renegade isn't even an RTS, so doesn't really belong in the discussion.
It's kinda fun though. And the faces are butt-ugly.
Can anyone explain why in this picture Saturn obscures the rings on both the near and far sides?
Nothing is wrong? Phew!
Well since the European/Australian launches are in the last week of March, that should give the number sold a bit of a boost.
Yeah. They should have just taken the PS2 and put a clock in it.
I loved the 'mini-bases' of Battle for Middle Earth 1, but I heard they got rid of it in 2, so I never got it.
