    there are some android apps i like and would enjoy running on a Linux desktop with a proper mouse & keyboard, for example SDRTouch with my SDRPlay software defined receiver would be much better than on a little bitty tablet, and hopefully using a mouse with it would make it nicer for adjusting the frequency or bandwidth and other stuff, good luck to the developers i hope this pans out to be a great program and improves both Linux and android

    the Golden Age of TV was in the 1960's & 1970's (before the internet) when most everybody spent their free time in the evening watching their favorite TV shows before bed time, TV is like the Radio now, people mostly ignore it unless they want local news & weather, the internet wont lill TV, like TV did not kill radio, it will just fall back to a secondary source of entertainment and news and information

    maybe people dont want to buy new tractors with this new "tractor with expensive propitiatory software, so they are keeping their old tractors, and even buying old tractors because they can fix them their selves without some greedy corporate tractor dealer scalping their pocketbooks every time they need work done on their tractor

  16. i love to play GTA 5 on my PS3, but i know if i tried to do that sort of thing in the real world i would be either killed by the police or put in prison for the rest of my life, it is just an amusing game for entertainment and stress relief (i get to do stuff in that game i could never get away with in the real world)

    i get killed by the Liberty City Police a lot in the game but at least i get to re-spawn, the real world dont work like that

    because my values changed, i guess paying utility bills, buying food, clothing, and car insurance is more important, and besides that i rather just listen to the radio because it also includes local news and weather, and i rather search youtube for amateurs that upload their music because they do it as a labor of love not because of any profit motive, to hell with the music industry, the music industry is dying because that is exactly what it is "A for-profit industry" and when it comes to spending money music is not high on the list of most people's priorities, you know, stuff like food, rent, clothes, insurance, etc...

    yup, my mom has both a landline and cellphone and i keep telling her dump the land line and use your cellphone, seems redundant to maintain two phones & two phone numbers, but nope she wants that umbilical landline cord as if she cant live without it, old habits are hard to kill
