Ie I swing towards the darkside but not asmuch as say a sith lord, anyway.
I propose asmany slash dotters as possible surround said house and aim all there mobiles/buetooth devices 802.11x/ham radios/microwaves and on the count of 3 start a 5 minute bombardment. I for one think it woul be funny to watch them run about trying to save there brains.
Or is it just me who thinks the mentaly ill are hear for my enjoyment?
the biggest issue with performance is the memory bandwidth. For $999 (£555 in real money). I would reather have half the memory running much, much faster. Imagine a $499 (£277) card with $500 (£280) worth of peltier-heatpipe cooling.
the clock sppeds! wont somebody please think of the clock speeds!
By definition total destruction is the maximum devistation I would of thought possible in a 3 hour period, ergo, I should invest in new Sun Block 4000 (warning: frequent use may cause skin cancer)
Also in answer to a question way up the top having a scale of 0-9 does have 10 increments(0's a number too!) and also takes less memory to store;-)
I must say I was very impressed with the level of manouverability these little fellows had, Add solar pannels and a few bespoke cubes (video cubes, transmitter cubes, power cubes, chromatography cubes) and you would have a really kick ass space probe. Basic movement and navigation could 'easily' be controlled with in the cubes as a distributed network with a transmitter cube(possibly more than 1 for safty) to relay data back to the lander that would hold the larger transmitter and main computer to controll 'higher' brain functions such as locating interesting items seen through the video cubes. The great advantage of this set up would be in the event the cubes lost signal with base they could re assemble them selves into a tower to reach over the obstical (ie a dune/bolder). If all the cubes were delivered in one big block in a lander they could assemble themselves according to the terrane they would have to navigate, short range cubes might opt out of having the additional transmitter cubes and return to base by simply reversing the path that got them to there destination and use a physical coupling to relay the data back tothe main probe.
Lets just hope that the STS can support upgrades easier than the shuttle can, as I recall there was a story not so long ago about NASA having to scrounge off e-bay to find replacement 8086 chips that are no longer made.
If you cant spin the disc faster why not use a ballanced roptating mirror and rotate the beam. You could achive incredible speeds as the mirror would be v.small and light the hotizonalt positionn of the beam could be altered by using either a swash plate on the mirror (like a helicopter blades) or by angling the laser.
That said I do prefere the Idea of solid state chips more. how long befor we get 3D Ram??
did your premium go up after the crash of was your no-claims bonus protected?
I would hope that car manufacturers would take bluetooth security very serious and install the proper check to ensure any data being loaded was from an authenticated source and that it did not contain any suspect code, IE: VCARDs contained only contact data and and software being loaded should be either certified by the manufacture or run on an isolated sub-system that is firewalled either virtualy of physicaly from the cars critical systems.
Any failure to adhear to the these standards could potentialy result in multiple losses of life (imagin a time bomb set to kill the powersteeing/engine that could transmit between any two BT enabled cars when they pass).
I drive a Toyota Avensis 1.8l VVT-i (stop sniggering!) and I have found the most effecient way to drive her (note: I do primarily mortorway/dual carrageway) is to put the pedal to the metal (okay, carpet) and get to 90MPH(sorry I ment 70MPH Officer) ASAP and then cruise.
VVT-i engines work by altering the valve times to allow extra fuel/air in; when cruising the engine is in lean burn and is very ecconomic (40MPG on the motorway, if I flaw it the engine switches to a more aggressive setting for hi-performance/low MPG.
The other thing that helps is leaving a big gap infront of you as that way you dont have to apply the breaks if when the car infront slows, you can reduce the throttle and re-gain the energy.
I don't know if anyone else used this, but there was a hack that would let you change the colour of the BSOD to any colour you wanted.
Pop Quiz: how many lines of code do you recon M$ took to add the RSOD?
a) upto 5 lines
b) upto 50,000 lines
c) upto 500,000 lines
or
d) one reeeeeaaaaaaaaallllllyyyyyy long line.
If only they had a sensor that measured constant force exterted on a landing leg insted of the short impulse of landing.
Why is there not a standard design mars landing vehicle, one that can be used to deploy any payload upto say 8^3m meters in volume, it would solve a lot of issues and reduce the overall mission costs, if designed well it could be used to land on other bodies (moon/IO/Europa) with only a slight modification to fuel levels/Paracute size/airbag preasure.
I wrote a simple program to work out the untimate answer and it keeps returning 42 and Inistists to understand it I need to upgrade to Earth 1.0!
It's not worth the wait I'm telling you.
In the episode where maud flanders is killed off bart is playing a christian game on Rod and Todd flanders PS2.
"Look out a mormon!"
"Alright got him!"
"nah, you just winged him and made him a unitarian"

between earth and the moon? If we built a space elivator between the moon and what ever counts for as space (I guess on the moon with no atmosphere that might only be 1cm off the ground) would there be a danger of the mother of all van-der-graph (phonetic) static discharges?
also wouldn't the top sway an awful lot, even moden sky scrapers that only go a few hundered meters wobble quite a bit.
Okay we done taken your moggie and put 18" paws, lowered the ride, put a fat pipe on the back, installed an X-Box and given that old black fur a new flame/chrome twist.
Oh and be for I forget. "I for one welcome our new super intelegent day-glow sheep overlords"
I wonder if they will be banded or allowed, the do boost performance, but then so does a good pair of trainers v's a bad pair. You could argue they are adictive (well if you played better with them in could/would you stop?) and ban them that way.
I think the answer is to group all sports into two categories. Pure and Natural: no performance enhancing anything and the players are all as nature intended. Uber-Sport: The Plays are geneticaly modified cybords on performance enchaning what-ever.
I for one think the latter would be great HD-TV.
and I am looking forwards to seeing it in much the same way as a sacrafisial lamb going to the kebab shop dosen't.
The consept I'm most excited about is the way that every second 24 still images will be shown in quick sucession to create the illusion of motion, similar to the way my granddad can tell a story with 24 movements from teh original subject to create the illusion of a story remaining stationary.

Oh I'm so sure that they have found it. No really I am.
Isn't it located near David Bedeals house?
I find the Futurama shows very entertaining, my wife how ever does not... I WILL DESTROY HER!

I sense a disturbance in the work force, although a million geeks all called in sick, then suddly turned off there mobiles.
The UK will dominate you all as soon as they get a break from filming

As I understand it M$ only allow upto 2 cpus on a standard licence. I hope they will release an update to allow for 2 dual core chips.
