So why is there any debate as to which format will win? If a vast majority of the content producers are on board with Sony, why would anyone in their right mind purchase a HD-DVD player? Toshiba and MS don't have a leg to stand on here. As for DVD being dead, I think the statement is a few years premature.
It wasn't the superbowl incident. There was some leaked fully nude sunbathing footage of her that is probably the prime contributor. It was well covered on most news outlets so I'm not surprised.
What is the philosophy? If I remember correctly their goal was to push high definition, but they failed to put any HDMI or DVI outputs on the system, and failed to include HD DVD. Another goal was to have the 360 be the hub through which all your media would go, but you can't even use this "core functionality" without owning a copy of Windows Media Center. I don't know anyone who isn't a MS employee who actually has Media Center. Do you?
Oh I completely agree there. I was referring to "punishment" in the form of disciplinary action carried out by the employer on the offending staff members. Jail time and heavy fines would be ludicrous. I imagine it's only a matter of time before a civil suit prompts companies to actually take on this level of responsibility voluntarily.
I agree. I see no problem with retailers being required to card for every M+ rated purchase. I used to manage a movie theater and it was simply company policy to card for R+ rated films. There are no laws forcing movie theaters to enforce MPAA ratings, it's just something they do out of a sense of social responsibility. If an employee fails to enforce the company policy, they get punished. If a pattern is evident at a certain theater location, the management gets punished. It's not rocket science.
I agree with the majority that parents should be ultimately responsible for their children, but a little social responsibility from game retailers sure wouldn't hurt.
I would love for one of these crime dramas to feature a story about someone who perpetrates crimes as a result of watching too many crime dramas. A violent television show has no place presenting an indictment of any other violent medium. If touched by an angel or 7th heaven chose to tackle the subject it would be ridiculous, but at least not hypocritical.
My battery failed in less than a year. I get mayb an hour of play out of it before it's ready for another charge. I declined to take part in the suit because I find the sound quality on the iPod to be sub-par when compared to other portable audio devices such as my minidisc player. The iPod is one of the biggest wastes of money I think I've ever committed to.
When Desperate Housewives: The Game comes out maybe they'll change their tune. The women on that show are sexual predators, and as men we should all find it completely offensive... if it weren't so completely uninteresting.
I'm a big fan of game boy and have been since the beginning. I replaced my original GBA with a GBA SP and I'll probably be replacing my SP with a GBA Micro for the sake of portability and to a lesser extent, novelty. The DS is cool but it's a step backward in terms of portability, which is a major point of interest for me. I want to be able to take my handheld wherever I go without uncomfortable bulges in my pockets.

It's a shame they discontinued it. Unfortunately I'll have to continue modding my pepsi with clorox.
Clear Pepsi for soft drink enthusiasts?

Screenshots really don't do the game justice. It's quite beautiful once you see it in motion.

One giant leap for nigerian phishing scams.
I thought the armband was a cock ring at first glance. I'm sorely disappointed.
You must have read the book already.
FYI Warren Spector had nothing to do with black and white. He did however produce some of the best PC games ever made.

It's a pretty screen saver if nothing else.

So who was Novak's source and why is Novak not in hot water over this?
It's got a meaty taste that 9 out of 10 bacteria prefer.
Not if Microsoft beats them to it.

To be fair, the other female characters in the game are fully clothed in completely unslutty fashion.
