this is way old.. i had my personalized home page done almost 2 months ago atleast.. it was even Slashdot that told me about it..
its a wonderful feature i might add.. i like having the quote of the day, word of the day, movie listings, news listings from 3 different sites, and so on..
I almost clicked on "Add to Cart" until I read the part about adding a WiFi card and getting a mere 30 minutes of battery life.. UGH! I mean shit, thats gotta be the coolest pda there is.. and it sucks all because of that pretty much.. its definitely not Sharp's fault.. unless they can develop a new battery haha.. i would moreso like to start seeing linux developers to lean more towards the portability issues.. it seems like aiming to get your OS to work on something portable, would be the FIRST thing to accomplish instead of it being the LAST thing.. of course when linux was first being developed, it was probably never suspected to be installed on something smaller than a desktop computer.. its hacked all to hell and back..
not missing.. its just old geographic data.. the satelite images msn uses are fuckin old as shit in comparison to the ones from google maps, which were taken approximately 5 years ago.. even google's is old time shit.. they all need to get new images.. it just costs a shit load of money.. heh
lots of people are getting pissed at each other because of the fact they have different uses for different mp3 players.. i personally like having a radio in mine because it gives me the ability to listen to NPR and my albums during my commute.. different purposes for different people.. respect their opinions for what they choose and why.. personally, the ipod is very unpractical for me.. $250 for something that doesn't even have the simple technology of an FM receiver..
awwwww i get modded.. hey, how about modding the bastards that express their idiotic opinions on my thread in the first place??? i said something equally opinionative in return and I get modded.. screw you and your stupid ipods..
um.. because that would be a huge waste of money.. I personally love having an FM tuner built in.. on my one and a half hour commute, i like listening to my music for a good 45 minutes.. then I tune into NPR news.. do you suggest that I carry two portable players around with me at all times?? if its such a simple technology, why doesn't the ipod have it?? to me, it makes the ipod completely worthless without one..
** "Radio? I remember that - it's what we used in the '80s. Actually, I remember in the '90s we could buy FM radios the size of credit cards - hell a local radio station was handing them out free when I was a kid. Hardly cutting edge technology (not to mention the appalling sound quality of FM radio."
But the IPOD doesn't have one.. so therefore it lacks something SO simple..
** "More than 1GB crazy? My (legal) music collection is around 15GB at the moment. I listen to less than 1GB of it each day - but I don't want to have to choose which 1GB I am going to listen to when I wake up in the morning."
You carry your ENTIRE music collection with you?? why??
personally, i think its a WASTE of money to spend over $100 on an mp3 player when you can live perfectly comfortable with something cheaper.. Not only can I listen to 5 albums that I put on my mp3 player in a matter of seconds every morning, but I can listen to NPR at important times during my every day commute.. god damn you're all lazy, and you waste money.. punks.. mac fan boys.. ipods suck, and you know it.. all they got going for them is their navigation.. other than that, its like buying one of those HUGE bags of potato chips that you don't really need but you do anyway because you like being fat..
this thing is pretty damn cool!!! yes its very small.. and it might seem retarded..
I take TWO things into consideration with my mp3 player choices.. FM Radio Capabilities, and power management.. This has an FM radio tuner (ipod cost $250 and doesnt?? wtf??) and also, the rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery that charges from the USB port is freakin awesome.. this thing couldn't get any better.. but, i'm still scared to spend over $100 on an mp3 player.. i rather use my $60 ILO with FM tuner and recording capabilities.. real nice design though.. i'll get one once they drop in price.. 1gb is a good amount of space too.. anyone who needs more than that, is crazy..
half the people bitchin in here about how they don't think this article was "cool", has no clue what half the words they mentioned even mean..
great article.. i think its definitely a step in the right direction as far as figuring out the secret(s) of evolution.. i don't see why anyone would "waste" their time bitching about the people who are actually finding answers to the questions we've been asking for thousands of years... quit jerkin off and something with your life..
but indeed one of my all time favs../usr/ports was the most ideal packaging system.. the automatically downloaded dependency feature had to influence debian's idea for apt-get, and urpmi for rpm based distros.. i wish freebsd did have more practical uses.. its so damn stable.. and so amazing.. why not spend some time working on nice graphical front-end and get people interested in something other than a server??
seems like some of those people were merely lucked out thanks to their previous hollywood careers.. of course some had done some pretty hard work, but it almost feels like it could turn into one of those fields like "communication".. you do a lot of work, and can't get shit worth of a job.. but i encourage it.. simply because I really need good freakin video games.. they are great works of art, and its a good outlet for their expressive minds.
this IS just a router right??? why is this being made out to be some huge deal??? i was thinking that it like gave you dialup internet access from anywhere in the country or something.. it really doesn't solve any of my problems of not having broadband here in bumfuck...
I hate hearing about new broadband services offered to people, and the possibility of it coming to the US.. Simply because, there still is NO simple and cost efficient broadband service provided in the area I live in.. we need concentrate on providing EVERYONE with broadband, before we can talk about upgrading.. help a nigga out!!!
business is constantly revolving around "management".. How to fucking manage your employees.. Christ.. this is the reason people are just generally scared to work nowadays.. its all bullshit.. back in the day, when worker unions still had something to offer the average joe, people were excited to get jobs.. Unions fucked off and ended up demanding too much, then management became the thing companies were seeking.. A way to deal with those pesky employees.. Companies need to start figuring out better ways to treat their employees union or not.. I think they just need to obtain a "heart".. give them healthcare, and make them not despire coming back to work the next morning...
I guess now they'll try to get people to watch their shitty programming as well.. Trying to get those youngins to watch Hannity and lame ass Bill O'Reilly... Because we all know that Americans love to be Entertained about politics, instead of educated!!
I benefitted indeed. but christ, its not like she gave it to me as a special gift out of the kinds of her heart. she was angry of the fact that her computer is "BWOKEN".. told me to trash it.. SHE is retarded.. and PEOPLE that waste their money are fuckin retarded.. i could careless if I benefit from them..
i thought he did a good job on the review.. Zeta definitely still needs some work.. I personally would like to see them redesign those ugly ass gray menus under the Zeta menu.. make then more beveled or something.. give them a texture.. I sound like a gay GUI interior designer.. that gray just does not match that font at all...
the sad thing is, people throw out their computers even if they merely THINK that that they are broken..
this rich lady I did some computer work for had a p4 2ghz with 512mb of ram the whole nine yards.. She couldn't get connected to the internet.. so she told me to throw it away and build her a new one.. i fixed the problem easily, and had myself a brand new fuckin computer.. matter of fact, i'm using it right now.. people are retarded man.. atleast donate the shit..
i don't think the man wanted it to sound that dramatic to be honest with you.. of course we have to "think" about a particular problem, and try to solve it to the best of our capacity.. and over time, people find more flaws in their ways of doing things.. so they continously search for a better way to make their lives efficient.. of course they have to "re-think" how they are doing things.. makes perfect sense to me..
its a wonderful feature i might add.. i like having the quote of the day, word of the day, movie listings, news listings from 3 different sites, and so on..
so can you no longer buy them from cantenna.com ?? because i've been so out of the loop i haven't even heard about the cantenna.. i want one now haha

I wish the A-Bomb would of been a sleeping powder bomb when it instantly killed 180,000 people..
i fuckin hate emo kids haha.. i just hope Fox doesn't turn all those emo kids into liberal hating conservatives
I was going to say something similar to that, but I realized that you put it into words much better than me..
