sure, grandma could press that "protect me on the internets" button. she just won't be able to get online unless she configures firewall to allow the right outgoing traffic right. the feature isn't useful for novices or enterprise, it's useful for more advanced/paranoid users.
"new Li metal phosphate batteries are very stable, and considering their superior performance they will likely supplant Li-poly for this application very rapidly."
i hope they aren't advertised as "LiMP" batteries. green cars aren't very macho as it is. sounds like they never reach full charge.
a lot of schools have some sort of book exchange where the sell gets a lot more and the buyer pays less because it's not a for profit operation running with less overhead.
i don't think gapless is dicated by the chip. you can get gapless on your ipod by loading rockbox now. doesn't matter to most people anyway since often their songs aren't ripped for it and they r buying singles instead of albums more. listening habit has changed too, random/shuffle doesn't benefit from gapless.
i tend to use latitudes and optiplex which don't come with loads of crapware, but i ran across this utility to help remove the pre-installed crap.

i'm assuming the commerials will have some special tag that the programming doesn't have. does this mean you could have a hacked tv that is able to accurately strip out the commercials? thanx philips!
but the laptops were coming from there anyway. if the cuban run was being called bicardi for a while then changed to the name of the cuban company that actually bottled it, what's the difference?
i think it would be better to have a switch that reduces the dynamic range of the music. i think a lot of people turn the volume up until they can hear the music clearly, including the details. in a loud environment, this forces people to jack up the volume so high the louder parts of the music become too loud. of course getting sealed headphones is still better, but this would help no matter what headphones u use.
this isn't about optimized diets, it's about being able to eat for pleasure and not suffering the consequences. our bodies seek out fatty foods and stores the extra energy because it was needed a long time ago. with the current level of abundance (in some parts of the world), we no longer eat for just sustianance. we eat for pleasure also. just look at the types of things we eat and the quantiy we eat. the body doesn't really say "enough of this particular food".
not to sound like some peta activist (i'm carniverous to a fault) but how does it effect the life of the animal? i guess it's kind of like veil where not do you live to be slaughtered, but perhaps also live bad life too.
this is going to combine online sex with more realist facials... i'm guessing these things will have no secondhand market.
i need one of these all-seeing screens i guess

you know his low popularity is getting to him when he tries to align the govt with the ipod.
when you abuse your monopoly position by price gauging, piracy becomes your competition.
FSM works at netflix? i guess it takes a lot of noodly appendages to juggle all those dvds.
