Wait a sec... Haven't they always said they wouldnt do something like this because of the time investment it would take to separate it entirely from the game?
I think when they are talking about sequel games, they are refering to games like Madden, which hardly even change. Each Final Fantasy game is usualy different from the previous in play mechanics and story. Each Zelda usualy tries to go with something new or something old used in a new way. But games like Madden, are really just the same game just with an updated roster. Thats what they are complaining about. I dont want to play Game X5 when its exactly like Game X4 which is exactly like Game X3, and so on...
He is saying that the advertisers are buying the most easily swayed audience from the network station. So, the audience becomes what the advertisers are 'buying'. They want people with low IQ and impulse control, so the network tailors the shows to fit that audience, in hopes of drawing them to the network to meet the advertiseres ratings expectations.
What about all those magenetic rocks and mountains? Are they just going to jump up and do a 180? If so, what camera or camcorder would be best to catch that? =D
Yep. Engineering students in the states (at least at my college) get to have a seminar or a class on protecting yourself from litigation. They tell you horror storries of unbelievable ignorance, yet people won the lawsuits. It just goes to show, if you dont think about slapping a product warning about something beforehand, some idiot will think they have a good idea, injure themselves, blame your company (or even worse you), and your company (or yourself) will be successfuly sued because your company (or yourself) didnt provide an adequate warning. =P
Wrong. If a company puts out a product they are entirely liable for anything that product does, whether or not the company knew about it, and whether or not the product was used inappropriately.
ex) A lawnmower manufacturer was successfuly sued by a man who injured himself when he picked up the lawnmower and tried using it as a hedge trimmer.
ex) Winnebago (sp) was sued by a man who thought cruise control would drive the Winnebago by itself.
The fact is, if you put something on the market, you are now responsible for anything that happens with it, good or bad, despite the intelligence or lack their of your customers.
Well I can understand using old footage, since Brando is dead. But will it match up? We're talking about 1978 film here, few movies looked good back then (grain, sharpness, color). Its going to take alot of photoshop'n to get that 1978 film up to 2k5 snuff. Then again, they could go for a retro look, and that would solve the problem, but I doubt many places still make film the 1978 quality standards....
Is it just me, or when they always say how much the games market does it always grow by about 5 billion each time?
First it was 12-15 billion market, then 20 billtion 2 weeks later, now its suposedly 25 billion...
I still think its around 12-15 billion due to exageration error...
Currently there is a big myth out there perpetrated(sp) mainly by the media and people not in the know. This myth is about humans only using 10% of their brain. This is false, humans use all of their brain, we wouldnt be walking around if we didnt. Please set this one straight so I can stop hearing this falacy every other day.
Intelligence resulted from carnivores and omnivores. Carnivores and omnivores needed to be smarter than the prey they were hunting who would create natural defenses to escape a brute-force attack. By becomming smarter, carnivores and omnivores could plan out an attack to turn a prey's strength into a weakness. When we evolved intelligence, we must have been so good at planning that our brute strength and any natural weapons we had were bred out, while the intelligence, which was key to our survival, continued to flourish.
Ah, but it isnt entirely random. The mutations might be random, upon what gets mutated. But the survival of the mutated is not random. You mutate, but then you have a 1/3 chance of it being advantageous, 1/3 chance of it being disadvantageous, 1/3 chance of it being unadvantageous. So we didnt randomly evolve, we advantageously evovled from a random seed.
For it to be truely random, the natural selection would also have to be entirely random, not favoring the advantageous, but favoring random chance on how to pass genes on. So, there is a guiding force, but its a natural one and its called 'Survival of the Fittest'.
The thing is, since Jack has engaged himself in the public eye so much, he now qualifies as a 'public' figure, which means he is not immune to people making fun of him publicly, etc. So all of his 'threats' are pointless now because he can no longer back up the fact he wants to be left alone.
Wait a sec... Haven't they always said they wouldnt do something like this because of the time investment it would take to separate it entirely from the game?
SO THATS WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN UP TO!
Thats why 'soon' took forever...

So, then why did you reply here?
But who says they will even pay it? They could contest it in court for years with the lawyers they could hire.
True, but back in the day you didnt have to pay extra for the game.
No No No... Its BOOT to the head =)

I love it how even though nobody is even using a revolution dev kit, they are commenting on system specs, of witch they obviously don't have.

I looked up what tubgirl was.... oh god, my eyes... I think I'm starting to go blind...
The Judge probably smelled the stink of 1st amendment violations...

I was using 1/3 to add simplicity to the statement, sure there are tons of unknown factors, which consequently reduce the 1/3.

More important... can it do my research project without me even asking it to?

Its like a car wreck, you dont want to stare, but you cant look away!
Or maybe I choose not to hide behind anonymity. Seriously tho, it was a joke, if you can't take it, thats just sad.
ah, but i have the last word... my p3n15 is larger than any of yours.... AHA! take that! (deliberate joke)
