    Then we can chop them down, make them into paper, and replant.

    The paper gets the TPS report printed on it, then gets buried in landfill, thus sequestering the CO2 safely in the earth until it gets converted back into fossil fuel in the distant future.

    Keep in mind, thermonuclear bombs have practically no maximum yield. In theory, you can build them as big as you want, as long as you've got the raw materials. The only reason we stop at 50-100 megatons is because the larger weapons won't fit on a plane or missile. Now, if you wanted to build a doomsday device of some kind...

    There was a really awesome picture (in the newspaper here in Sydney) of the scientist in front of the computer equipment they were using. The stuff looked like your stereotypical retro computer control panels/racks, complete with illuminated, colourful buttons, blinking lights, and so on. It looks like the control room for an old missile silo, or, (would you believe it) old-school space command!
    Where can I get some dummy/discarded panels? I want to replace all the walls in my room with them, and wire up some LED's to blink randomly/illuminate when I press the buttons.

    It's generally a pretty standard condition, most commonly when you are taking a redundancy package. I've never heard of it being used on internet related jobs before, but I don't think it's uncommon.

    I have university access to that database, and I just downloaded the pdf (about 200kb, 15 pages, some graphs), but I have no way to get it to anyone, and I'm not suicidal enough to host it for all of slashdot. If someone *really* wants it, leave an email address, and if I come back, I'll send a copy. (as long as there aren't a million email addresses waiting for me when I check back :P )

    Cost per page should be more important than initial purchase cost.

    You can get a refurbished/or possibly new HP4050, and with compatible 10,000 page cartridge, you get about $0.017 per page. The machine itself is approx $300. Holds 600 sheets by default.

    Mind you, this is all Australian dollars.

    The Australian Office of Film & Literature Classification (OFLC) actually do hire people to demonstrate games based on outlines provided by the developers. Thing is, they dont often see everything, or they see the wrong thing, or the developers convieniently leave out things.
