It's gonna take more than a few crappy RPGs to save a failing console. The 360 pretty much has no market share in Japan, and that won't be changing any time soon.
But I don't really care. I don't plan on playing it anyway; it's looking profoundly mediocre in my opinion. And it's not like Sony's fate rests on this one game's exclusivity. Sure, it's building a lot of hype, but it certainly isn't as high calibur as MGS4, for instance. It's no big deal.
It's not about how long you play for, it's about how dedicated and obsessed you are with gaming. It's about your taste in games, what games you play, what consoles you own, how long you've been playing, the variety of gaming experiences you've had, and many other factors. It's not just how long you spend playing that determines whether you're casual or hardcore.
ZOMG you beat me to it. I was gonna mention that one. In a way though, I guess he did give everything away. Would any of you guys be ready to give away 85% of your money?
I can see no defining qualities that set this apart from any other standard mouse. It's just a marketing ploy, all they did was add some flashy lights and now are expecting people to pay more for less.
Oh snap... Were you talking to me or the AC? Shit.
Did I even mention the word "Sony" in my post? No. So stop making retarded assumptions.

Seriously though, I think Tim's article on the whole issue covered this pretty well (currently on the front page of CAD).

The story on fingerprint scanners being fooled by play-doh? I can't find the bloody link anymore though.
Say goodbye to ad revenue you guys.
Amen to that. Nintendo haven't proven shit yet.

Welcome our new ass-kicking, name-taking, game-making COOverlord.
It doesn't look much different to any other spacesuits.
No big deal at all. Bearshare is but a tiny fish in a HUGE ocean.
Looks like Sin from FFX.
They never were immune. It's just that most virus writers don't give a crap about Macs.
It's the sequel to an immensely popular game. Duh.
It's just too big, cumbersome, and impractical. Not to mention expensive. It'll never go mainstream.
Well I'll be damned.
