Nice try, but the PSP already has a working PS1 emulator, and many others, including the SNES, NES, GBA, N64, Mega Drive, and CPS1/2. The GP2X's community is only a fraction of the PSP's vast following, so it's a console doomed to vanish into obscurity, along with it's predecessor, the GP32.
Before you jaded Internet soldiers say it, yes, this has been done. Every website and its incestuous sister-daughter-wife has one of these worst-covers lists, including us now.
Just because they acknowledge it, that doesn't mean they should go ahead and do it anyway.
The PS3 has the same controls/game style as the XboX, and the XboX is cheaper and more readily availibe. It has almost all the features, too. So I wouldn't think that would be serious competition.
Bullshit. Aren't you forgetting GAMES? The PS3 will have a greater, Japan-powered library of games.
It's fucking insulting. I don't have an iPod, and I fucking hate the iPod.
And regarding space exploration: show us something new instead of reporting "OMGWTFLOLBBQ there may or may not be water on Mars!!one" every two minutes, and you may have us interested.
MySpace is the epitome of poor design and bad taste. It's a microcosm for everything wrong with today's younger (and, in many cases, older) generation.
The iPod always sucked. It was never the best MP3 player, it was simply the most popular and a sought after fashion accessory, and now that people are starting to realise it, they're going to go for alternatives like Creative, which is far superior and cheaper.
15 years from now, the 101st release of "Street Fighter 4 XZY: Ultra Hyper Super Fighting" for the XBOX 1080, complete with lag-free online play, and the ability to gouge your opponents eyes out, which I'm sure will come in handy when I decide to kill myself when Capcom announce another port/remake.
If the games in question weren't generic shooters. They come a dime a dozen these days, so it's not exactly a big loss for Microsoft.

Seriously.
From TFA: the average gaming geek is just not up to the strenuous task of vigorous arm movement for longer than 10 minutes
Yeah... I'm not so sure about that...
Don't try, because you'll probably fail. If everyone thought like that, we wouldn't be where we are today.
It's casual gamers on the increase. With the expansion of the video games industry, this is to be expected.
Yeah, good luck enforcing that.

"MTV" and "excellent" in the same sentence? That's not gonna go down well here...

That may be true, but it's not MySpace ugly.
After they ripped off so much shit from Mozilla.
Slashdot is really going down the crapper.

I knew it was too good to be true. Firefox was better anyway.
I mean, who still thinks gaming is embarassing? And handhelds are for kids? They don't know what they're talking about.
Damn it, I can't make the bloody joke now. Thanks a lot.
Who's fit to judge what constitutes a "waste"? I'm a gamer, and I don't consider the use of energy to be wasteful.
Amen man. Amen.
Of morons.
Sorry, apparently this was branded "not funny" a while back by the joke police.
It's probably gonna be extremely impractical and mega expensive. We'll have forgotten about it in 36 hours anyway.
