It's pretty stupid for a console game to have nasty bugs like that. DCL made those companies pretty lazy and ready to release a half-asset game to the public. -_-

Shadow of the Beast (genesis/mega drive). The whole game is a huge gaming wall, considered to be one of the hardest games ever at the time. It always frustrated me as I could never pass beyond the first screen(there are no levels), until Sega released the invincibility cheat code. I swear, I heard thousand of cries of joy through out the world.;) So yeah, I used a cheat to finish it, shame on me.
Funny, only now, after reading the article on wikipedia (that I linked above), I found out that the increased difficulty was due to a sloppy conversion of the refresh rate.

An update in this article mention that too. I don't know how it is possible for them to install a software without the consent of the developer, and I am also surprised that the IWD expansion has the Starforce "copy protection", since I made a backup of my copy with no problems.

Also, I would like to include Chrono Trigger (played it over and over and over...), Rock 'n' Roll Racing (I love to play w/ my friends... yeah I still have a snes console), Devil Crash (I love pinball, and this game has some great soundtracks) and Metal Gear Solid (there are no words to decribe how great this game is).
Also, recently, Shadow of the Colossus, DMC 3, AvP2 (and I love the AvP arcade version too) and GTA: SA (this one is not about just "playing" but, you know, getting a car or motorcycle, turn the radio on and just... "traveling" around; I found this so relaxing).

I would recommend Clive Barker's Undying. It's a great horror game that has a nice compelling story.
