Coca Cola company has had MANY failed attempts at new soft-drinks recently (although I don't think that the lime-coke was a failure...I don't see them anymore, but people around here were buying tons of them).... maybe they'll get this one right.
I'm going to give it a try, at least. I do have to wonder how they will blend the two tastes, though. I mean.... coke is sweet, and coffee is bitter... oh well, if they're confident enough to manufacture the stuff, I'm confident enough to try it.
It's really a shame that they're doing this to the game. Sony is, once again, pissing me off. It's not fair to all of the gamers who have put so many months into the game.
I think that after Sony loses EVEN MORE money because of this, they may be a little conservative in the future. I still urge everyone to not buy any Sony products (I just talked my parents out of buying a $1300 Sony Camcorder, a $200 Sony car stereo system, and a Sony HDTV that has a price that I don't know). We need to show these guys that WE WILL NOT TOLERATE this sort of shit. These guys are doing whatever they can to make as much money as they can. Let's kick them where it hurts.
What's the purpose of shutting down lyrics sites? It makes no sense whatsoever to me. Do the record industries plan on making more money if no one can read the lyrics of their songs?
Perhaps they're jealous of all the annoying pop-up (redundant, I know...) ads that places like AZlyrics can have. Honestly, I'm LESS likely to buy a song that I can't find the lyrics to (assuming that I heard the song on the radio and didn't catch all the lyrics).
Props to Google for taking responsability and fixing this so quickly. They could have spent a few weeks blaming Microsoft (their competition), as I thought they would, but they didn't.
How reliable is this? If it were to malfunction, couldn't this cause some pretty massive wrecks? How can we trust this? Where can I buy a tin-foil hat for my car?
I thought one of the biggest selling points of TiVo was to NOT have to see ads... at least, that's one of the main points that people have made about buying one.
I've been a loyal bellsouth customer for several years. My landline costs me roughly $70 a month. I've also got their internet service. Sorry Bellsouth, but I'm not buying from you any more. You sound too much like Sony.
Heh... well, I watch most of the stuff that I do for the cheese. Why else would I watch Star Trek: TOS? What, do you think battle scenes between Kirk and Klingon soldiers to be action-packed?
It's quite good, I'm told. I've not got access to broadband, but I hear that it will be coming to DVD (not that anyone expects to make any money off of it). I'll be getting it, and from what I've heard it's one of those movies that I would buy on DVD even if I DID have access to broadband. I encourage anyone who has any intrest in it to check it out.
I don't see many books on Slashdot that I'd actually buy, but this one looks to be a little ammusing. Kind of reminds me of some uncyclopedia articles.
Honestly, playing a violent videogame DOES NOT MAKE YOU A VIOLENT PERSON. If that were true, I'd probably be in jail at the moment. I just wouldn't want my kids exposed to things like drugs at an early age (I'm talking 9-10 here).
The ESRB makes me sad. How about giving Violence, Drugs, etc. different ratings? I would let my kids play most things that might get an "M" for violence, but not an "M" for drugs or sexual content. I seriously hopes that Nintendo rethinks this.
Is there anythign wrong with Livejournal? I'm not a big fan of most of the blogs there, but the interface is really easy to use... The article doesn't mention any negatives to it...
And I've also gotta mention Xanga here... I HATE Xanga, but a lot of kids that I know have learn HTML because of it.
Notice the "After carrying it around all day". It's the Samsung SCH-A670... actually a pretty decent little phone. Also, I do tend to send quite a few text messages during the day...
Massively Multiplayer Online Rail Projectile Games?

On a side note, some accounts still don't have it. I've had it for about 5 days now.

Anyways, I can't see much different in this version, but it's supposed to fix some bugs.
I was an exception, however, as my co-workers were kind of weirded out that I didn't wear shorts or T-shirts to work.

But isn't this old news? I know I've read about all of this AT LEAST a month ago...

"Internet Governance" is what will kill the internet.

2. People remember Perfect Dark

"The only winner here is the enviroment"?
GOOD.
Also, if they shoot them, I would HOPE that neighboring countries would look into it and see if these people really are being descriminated against.
Isn't the purpose of the computer to replace them?! Then why are there no bots!
