I have one, and I have to say that I agree wholeheartedly with the Cnet review. It is an excellent device, and I feel, better than an iPod. It also integrates very well with WMP11 (MS's best MP to date) and Urge (well done, but nothing extrordinary). I'd reccomend it to anyone.
Because Slashdot isn't about the stories, it's abou the comments. And by doing a Backslash, they can get a new crop of comments about a previous topic without A)Duping or B) finding a tangentially related story.
The 360 can connect with PMC 2.0 devices, I believe. Although the only one that works with it now is the Toshiba Gigabeat S. And all that link does is allow you to just about any music-related task with the device.
At least, this shows that there is potential for connectivity with games.
How are these droids? 'Droid is short for Android, as in a human-shaped robot. And while this definition may not hold fast in a galaxy far, far away, it most definately does for us. Why not just say "Robot?"
But the NES isn't the only successful console. They came out with a slight majority vs. the genesis, and barely under a majority with the N64. And the gamecube did manage to beat the Xbox worldwide.
That's a big difference from Apple's tiny minority.
Try running Portable Firefox off of a flash drive, or even Damn Small Linux. Then you can keep your browser cookied so you don't have to enter data into forms. Not a great solution, but still better than the basic IE on whatever you're using.
Of course, you could also just try using a Mac whenever possible. That would at least trim down the number of possible dangers.
Must have been because they were intimidated by that chip that ran 250 times faster than a mobile phone processer that was in the news a couple of days ago...
It's not the studios that matter. It's the customers that matter. Whatever people buy is what's going to win. It just needs to gain enough momentum to get the rest of the studios to jump ship from the other one.
Not windows user, but just "Idiot." People have been blindly doing what others tell them to do since the beginning of time. What kind of computer they use doesn't matter.

Actually, I've found WMP 11 quite useful and good-looking for organizing my library. Definately thier best effort for the software. It's been getting decent reviews, too.
Star Wars, Star Wars Box Set, Star Wars Special Editions, Star Wars Special Edition Box Set, Star Wars Remastered Special Special Hayden Christensen Edition, Star Wars Original Release Re-Release.
First, you're thinking of the MacBook/Pro cord, not the mini, and second, isn't effective dual boot on common and popular hardware somewhat more important than a little power cord that most reviews didn't like all that much?
XP? It's only crashed on me once, and that's because of a shitty driver when I was doing a reinstall over a new hard drive.
A great deal of low-end laptops use the x200M chip. It's the AMD alternative to intel integrated (and a good deal better, too.)
They're not based on a Pentium chip. The number rating is in relation to a 1 Ghz Duron (I belive it's Duron, but I might be wrong).
No, he's referring to the ATI GPUs, not the CPUs, which are IBM.

I like it.
Still easier than "Blue.com"
My god... it's full of typos...

Um, yes. Can you not see the difference?

Sony barely got more than half when fighting the N64. I wouldn't call it "Absolutely Dominated." They won, but not by that much.
Wow, a record company did something good, for once...

Begun, this lawsuit war has... As if a million gamers cried out at once and were silenced...

Probably not Steam either, which is much more popular.

Just adding that HL2 isn't required for the episodes (except for story and such). So the cost of the game is just $60.

We're closer than you think.
