I think we can all agree that Tenth Amendment hasn't actually had any force for a very long time. The federal government pretty the states do what it wants one way or another.
"That site also claims taxes are only 5 to 10% which is much lower than what I'm currently paying in the US, I'm paying about 15% right now."
You're joking right? In the USA there is: Federal Income Tax, State Income Tax, City Income Tax, Social Security Tax, Local Property Tax, State Sales Tax, County Sales Tax, City Sales Tax. There are also various taxes on Gas, Telecom, Power, etc.
Not all locations have Property Tax, not all cities have income and sales taxes.
Add it up. You'll find that you are paying a LOT of money in taxes.
Yes, but what if you hit me and you don't have the money for my medical bills you've caused? Or the money to pay for my car? What then?
This is exactly what no-fault insurance is supposed to avoid. YOUR insurance company pays YOUR bills, the other person's insurance company pays THEIR bills. If you don't have insurance then you don't get anything.
"What do other countries such as Asia, Europe and America pay?"
Until recently you could not send text messages between carriers in the USA. This is slowly changing, but you still can't send text messages between many providers. I don't understand why NZ Telecom didn't simply limit the "unlimited text messaging" to messages between NZ Telcom customers.
VoicePulse does this for their SIP service. There are a couple of other companies that are starting to ramp up that do not lock their customers in like Vonage does. Vonage LOCKS the VoIP device they sell you so it will only work with their service, even though it's a Cisco ATA-186. Packet8 also tries to lock you into using the DTA310 device that they sell you.
There are a couple of projects that do VoIP and PSTN/VoIP types of services. The one I use is Asterisk www.asteriskpbx.org There are others Bayone comes to mind. Both are GPL'd. There are a couple of companies that do "PSTN replacement" type of services. Packet8 and Vonage come to mind. Both provide a small device that you plug into your local network and plug a phone into and you make calls just like a regular phone. There are a couple of other companies out there that do PSTN/VoIP services that are a little more technical to set up. VoicePulse has both a business class service and a consumer class of service. There's also NuFone and StealthTelecom. The URLs for most of these companies are fairly obvious. There are also companies that offer only VoIP/VoIP service, FWD (fwd.pulver.com), and IAXTel both do this.
*shrug* You call Paul Vixie an idiot, I call DJB an asshole. But at least Paul Vixie's software comes with pretty much any *nix OS. DJB's software doesn't. Why? Because DJB's license prohibits distributing binary versions of his software. BIND may have a some issues, but I'll stick with it.

You got that right! I live near small commercial airport in Pensacola, FL. This area has one commercial airport and TWO military airports. Since the buildup for the War in Iraq they have started flying fighter jets out of the commercial airport. The building I live in has pretty good sound proofing. If you are outside when one of the fighter jets take off or land you have to cover your ears because the noise is so loud and painful. If you are inside you have to pause the TiVo because of the noise and the dishes rattleing. I wonder why the FAA doesn't do something about the noise. It's obviously exceeding FAA requirements for enviromental noise around airports. I REALLY feel sorry for the people that live closer to the airport. I'm very happy my lease is up in a few months. I'm moving to a quieter location.
Don't worry. Once there are Linux drivers for this card Linksys will change the main ship on the card and make the drivers not work. This ia a tradition with Linksys.

My idea is that Google can push sites into using good/valid HTML.
If it uses crappy HTML then yes. But I didn't say anything about REMOVING pages, just lowering their ranking.
Maybe Google could reduce the page rankings of pages with bad/incorrect/non-standard HTML?
2.5 million is about twice the size of New Orleans. Hell, there are 14 million people in both Los Angels and NYC.
Is that what they are calling Psostfix these days?
"Grits" is a term used in the southern USA. The rest of the world calls it "polenta". Usually the only difference is the cooking method.
Actually it's in their interest that their competitors play by the same rules that NuFone plays by. SysMaster is not doing that.
NuFone contributes alot back to the Asterisk developement. They also do not claim to have written their "product" themselves.

BankOne's online banking works fine with Mozilla.

You have obviously never run a telnet or ssh session over the Verizon Mobile IP service.

I simply don't have problems with BIND. It works, I don't worry about it.

How well does the Season Pass feature work with these cards?
Wake me up when they start shipping a product.
The problem with this idea is that the MLS systems use ActiveX.

I'll consider migrating to IPv6 when my ISP can give me IPv6 addresses.
