It's not about flash as much. It's more about getting funding to pay for research materials, graduate student salaries, etc. It's sad because now, if an immediate result isn't suspected, or some buzzwords like stem cell or cancer research isn't thrown around, you chances of getting funding decrease. The high school kids just figured that out.
I teach at a college. In a world where we are getting sick of big brother, I'm getting sick of IT people filling that role. So what if the school won't know if I lost a bit of data on my usb drive. I can live with that. It's better than them centralizing all the drives so that if one networth thing goes wrong everybody can't work.

rf is light, and photons from previous post metions it already.
Also, it would take about half a day to get all the Windows updates intalled. And then they forget to put up a firewall (I know sp2 does it) and 20 minutes later they get hacked.
It'll probably have too much advertizing. I can't stand opening Yahoo's messenger or their email anymore because the big fat pictures that I have to look away from...
I just switched to tags from wish lists. It seems simpler. They are set as "public" by default just like wish lists and if you care about privacy you would change them to "private".

It'd be funny if the stars of the game would preach fuel efficient cars
So if the kid makes a typo for a website and gets 26 porn popups, how is this the parent's fault?
Telescopes see farther, and batteries last longer.
