I know it's a terrible thing to say, but that's how I feel about it. Perhaps love will blind me (and I hope it does, actually), but that kind of thing scares me. but anyway, let's get back to telling this guy not to fry himself

I used to think the same exact thing. Then I began a co-op assignment at a GE plant and see how useful it is. Rather than paging the whole plant, engineer A can just blip engineer B and say "hey come to the front lobby real quick" or ask a quick question.

I'd hate it if I saw someone using it in the restaurant beeping and talking real loud, but in a work environment, it's a cool tool.

Nextel just sucks though. My personal cell phone is Verizon, and I think they'll do a much better job of it.

What we really can't overlook are the popular distributions. They can't be putting in ridiculous defaults at startup. They shouldn't use too much beta software that's going to be running a lot. They need to keep pushing updates, and make it easy. And for the most part, I think we're doing pretty good. Learn from Microsoft's mistakes while you laugh at them.

Creatine does wonders, and I love it. Oh, and it's been around for long enough to know if it gives many long term side effects, and it doesn't.

    I definitely like it.

as far as "No publicity is bad publicity", i disagree though. I go to Ohio State. If you don't have your head up your ass, you can see that our football program is under huge scrutiny. All because we're #1 and all, but the fact is that Maurice Clarett has done nothing bad. In the meantime, Michigan's best defensive player has sexually assaulted someone and barely gets any attention. Not all publicity is good, regardless of the attention. Imagine if Linus was really evil and made some sort of distributed attack in kernel 2.6.2 and it did horrible things for eveyrone that installed it. We wouldn't get too good of publicity.
