Many of us have heard of feeds and podcasts and aggregators. What are these things and where did they come from?
With this being Slashdot I find that line to be rather condescending. Regardless this is a good review but when it comes to 'web technologies' I'd rather get my information from the source: the internet. As Chappell (The reviewer not the comedian) said, "there is also the danger that the information may be outdated in a few years."
Going a tad off topic here but I'd just like to make an observation with regards to the number of comments on this article. I have noticed that book reviews usually don't receive as much attention as other news items. While I don't like to prognosticate perhaps it's a sign of the end of print.
I believe that software publishers, being commercially driven and all, do have the right to implement anti-piracy mechanisms on their producst. However these mechanisms shouldn't have any impact on the product or the system on which it is installed (I'm looking in your direction Starforce). Well thats my $0.02AUD ($0.014868USD).
Even better you could strap one of these babies to the Wiimote for a genuine Star Wars experience (Hell you could even get one of the 300mW ones but thats bordering on excessive).
It was bound to happen. Exploits like this don't just go unused. I have a real gripe against Javascript. I hate using it because its messy and insecure. They should really smarten up Javascript just like they did with VB in its.NET form.
Seriously there is nothing good on TV so HD isn't worth it. I don't even think that having a colour TV is worth it. My TV has fake wood veneer on the outside and a pane of glass in front of the screen. Sometimes when I turn it on or change the volume parts of the screen go purple or green. I don't have to go outside for sun light because my TV provides enough Vitamin D through the masses of radiation that it leaks. But I don't care, television is shit so you should only watch it on a shit set.
Now all they need is lasers.
Of course it would be a trap as that's the only reason for why Microsoft would do it.
Yeah but they're Canadians.
*ducks*
Why are you apologising? This is
I've already seen the "LCARS Standard Board" when it was featured as an Awful Link of the Day on Something Awful.
Obviously you have never heard of a 'waiver of liability'. I think that in actual fact Apple are legally responsible for very little.
While I haven't played many other Capcom fighting games I have played GGX on PC and I found that it was extremely unbalanced. Still it's fun to play.

Well that really depends on how deep they did it. Here is some footage of American underground nuclear tests for comparison: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1870730456 324813920
Thanks! I was wondering how to get Q3 running on Linux.
The above diatribe was copied from a quote on bash.org: Quote #56806.
WW2 cost, collectively, more than 2 trillion USD's. I think Jack would be suing for a lot more than 600 million.
If you like the soundtrack to Delta heres a nice piece: 'Space Grind'
You asked for it...
In Soviet Russia, America trades with YOU!
So where do I download the device drivers?

You should try Meccano. As they say in the movies, that shit is wack.
Probably not. Thats why they keep the door open.

The new director of Google.org is Larry Brilliant!

I use the old LE version which you can't actually get officially anymore.
For those that are wondering he is making a joke about the Stingray TV series. I loved that show back in the day.
