It's kinda weird that to select the BFQ io scheduler I have to specify it on the boot grub line. But I can still change from noop/deadline/cfg on the command prompt.
I've been really happy with BFQ, but having to select the elevator=bfq on the grub is annoying and sometimes 4.13 hangs. Then I end up with manually editting my grub for some kernels...
Almost every FM station near me has HD radio with 2 side stations, so you get up to 3 stations of content per station. There is AM HD put doesn't appear to have been implemented, I couldn't find any hardware or AM HD radio stations.
But, some car manufacturers are still playing the "HD radio is extra" upgrade for their premium levels.
And then HD radio consortium killed off portable HD radios because they don't want people to pirate the clear signal. I would Love an AM/FM (with HD) on my cell, but If you can't buy it, that's effectively killing it off.
It's easier for me to stream radio onto my cell phone, just so I can hear talk radio in the my car. Corporations are ruining radio, mostly due to clear channel stranglehold.
But then, not everyone has high speed internet or mobile data across the US too.

Hourly wage is normally 40 hours for overtime, thats 96 hours a week, someone is making bank in OT for a min wage lower skilled job. The normal shift job will work you 9 hours with 1 hour lunch/breaks not including the start/end of shifts on your time.
The UK gets bank holidays which we don't, but they also don't even get paid the same as their US counterparts, and they have a higher tax on top of it. Programmer salary in USD, London average is 41K and Seattle is 87K (per google check just now).

LG V20 is pretty much everything I want, SD Card Slot, Removable battery and a DAC built in. I carry a dac with me, and good fiio dacs are only 90 bux. Worth it to drive good headphones off your cell phone. But the LG V20 is 800 bux and I can't see spending that much. My modded note 4 has a 10k zero lemon and custom rom/kernel that gets great life and almost speedy as my s7, except chrome doesn't scroll as sliky smooth just average smooth.
I'd say the oneplus is 2nd in almost everything I'd want, but lacking removable battery. They even upgraded with the 3T to a faster cpu.
Seems like phone manufacturers are just reducing features by the big boys. I don't need water proof at the expense of a battery. I don't have access to cloud everywhere, I use sd card. I want a big screen to read books and watch youtube. Would like front facing speakers that sound good. (LG V20 Again), a nice 4k camera is a nice touch also.
Chinese phones seem to be the real players besides LG, lots of cool features and not as crippled. But I'm not buying an extremely expensive phone I cant get a warranty on that I have to ship to china for that price. But many of those phones have translation issues also.
XDA has a large LG modding community, and thats also a good thing. I'm just sad most the good devs left the note 4 community for newer phones, last rom update security update didnt get used in any new roms. Kinda sad.
Most phones are downgrades, no sd card slot, no headphone jack, no removable battery. I can't see ever buying a samsung again, when dozens of other vendors are offering uncrippled phones for less money. Samsung just isnt worth it.

So low end cpu's with lots of cores are needed.
