That magical sign next to the 1000 denoting money is not the dollar sign. I know its hard for many to realize there is money out there other than the US dollar, and that other nations just put different symbols to give it local flavor.

http://www.x-rates.com/ would tell you that £1000 is about $1800. Which would replace not only my 4 year old PC, but my camera, speakers, and LCD. And I would smile as they hand over the money.

I have many left-leaning views, but I tend to agree with your argument. And having spent many years in U.S., I have grown to respect and cherish the right to own firearms. Though I do not currently own a firearm, knowing that I could if I so chose to gives me a measure of comfort.

The main cause of crime will always remain poverty resulting from unfair dissemination of wealth. U.S. is only too apt to keep the margin between wealthy and poor very high. So crime in general will remain high. And as a result all forms of crimes will too. And given how most people are locked into their neighborhood by their income bracket, such pockets of poverty only exacerbate the problem, and very often blur the lines between the perpetrator and the victim.

So please stop your self-righteous, know it all attitude. Gun laws have very little to do with crime in the U.S. The high level of crime is the result of unique social-economic situation present here. And as such cannot be fixed as easily as simple law banning gun ownership.

You know very little about the original Jumpgate so I will address your silly comments.

The original had Newtonian Physics. This made flying and fighting very hard for new players, it just had an incredible learning curve which threw new players out of the game. To combat this they introduced special thrusters which added a form of drag in the new game to make flying a bit more bearable. And also it will make breaking far less tedious.

Are you serious about the sound? Why would anyone want to play a game without sounds? That's just silly

Original jumpgate had many views, the old over the shoulder view made it impossible to fly in it without crashing into things and getting lost. I am glad that's changed for sure. I believe the devs rational was that they wanted people to see the ships they were flying. Wither way I'm sure you will be able to set cockpit view if you are dying for it.
