While it may have been a good game, I hardly see how it is a proper simulation of 3d combat. In real 3d, the Z axis would just be another component for the distance vector. Simply coming at an angle from above would not give you some sort of magical advantage, as the enemy could point his ship "up" straight towards you. Furthermore, there would hardly be many "holes" in the ship turret coverage, because the engineers designing ships for combat in 3 dimensions would make sure you have no vulnerable spots.

And even though one has not happen in a while, the threat of it leaves congress pretty paralyzed on any major reform. I would actually be happy if simple majority ruled again. Status quo is no good for anyone, and it's damn near impossible to change.
Also worth mentioning is the fact we have a 2 party system in the US. Imagine trying to get a simple majority in a country with 6 or 7 parties. You would never get anything done.

However, silicon cells have more than twice the efficiency, as much as 20 percent compared to less than 10 percent for dye-sensitized solar cells.
So Are we talking about 3x 20%? One could only wish. I think they mean 3x 10%, so 30% efficency, which is only 50% better than silicon solar cell. I guess that's still a big improvement.
