On the other hand, I got rid of the blue E on the desktop. I immediately made Firefox and Thunderbird the default apps. They never experienced IE browser yet. And they are to computer dumb to know AOL uses IE. I am aiming to make Firefox their main browsing client.

I would have turned their shiny new dell into a Linux box but Dell doesn't send Recovery disks with their computers anymore. It's a shame to throw away good windows license. It would have been nice to throw new computer user into Linux right away.

It would seem that AOL is still in reorganization and are trying to find it's niche in the broadband market. And the AOL software will change as a result. AOL Explorer is probaly the beginning of that change.

Also, Postmaster General is also called CEO of USPS. Read USPS website. You can also read their financials and business plans.

The reason why USPS has a monopoly on letter delivery is because of the laws. Only two people is allowed access to your mailbox, you and USPS. Those neat little boxes are protected by federal law.

As for the increase in profits for USPS, I bet it is mostly due to eBay.

This Scooter is a Hydrogen Fuel Cell Scooter much like Honda's FCV/FCX car.

Those who think otherwise are just morons.

The scooter has an electric motor powered by a (Li-)ion battery. If the Fhybrid is ever put into production, the idea is to charge the battery with a fuel-cell system, which would derive its energy from a tank of hydrogen. While scientists are working to make such systems more efficient, obtaining hydrogen (by splitting it out of water) is for now too costly to be practical. Scientists disagree whether it will ever be viable.

The prototype scooter uses a simulated fuel-cell to recharge the battery.
