I can watch GTv though my Gbrowser on GOS on my GComputer while talking to my friends on Google Talk and Gmail. After I'm don't I can do my reports in GOffice!

This is where KDE shines: everything can be done by the keyboard. Qt makes it really easy to use keyboard bindings, so its required to be able to do almost anything with a keyboard.
In the konqueror 3.5 branch pressing ctrl gives a shortcut to all the links on the page, so you can do total browsing without a mouse--very useful.
For things like that, KDE tends to be alot better than Windows.
Head to Dell.com or some other high end retail site. Look for their killer rig review. Buy that, add input devices and accessories, and assemble. You'll have a next to top end machine at an (improper) fraction of the cost with a parts list that has been fully pounded out by the pro's.
If you are OSS, or want to buy a Qt license, Qt designer is very good for prototyping -- you can even make it functionally quickly with some pyqt, then write it in whatever language you want later.

rippify to a nice open codec that won't lock you out, then upload to gmail. My bet is its totally safe for years and years to come...
