I would love to be able to cast a ballot for "None" and if that selection gets the most votes, the position is abolished. If people want true choice in elections, let's have "None of the above" be one of the choices.
Opera *can* block ads, no plugin necessary.

Opera 10.0 Released

· Score: 2, Informative
Opera has had the ability to block ads and other content for as long as I can remember, long before Firefox itself even existed. All that is required is for one to install a simple.ini file into Opera's user profile directory. The file must be updated manually, but it is simple enough to write a script to automatically download the new file every so often. It may not be as powerful or user-friendly as AdBlock Plus, but it works, and works well.
Agreed. People who badmouth the Zune have either never owned one (the "lol zune sux!" crowd), or have only used the original 30 GB model (aka Toshiba Gigabeat) with 1.x firmware. The second gen Zunes are fantastic and I have never regretted buying one (80 GB model) after owning several generations of iPods.
I love the FM radio as I listen to NPR at work. I love the wireless sync and marketplace, which EVERY Zune model can use, but only the iPod Touch and iPhone are able to do. I love the big, vertically-oriented screen. I love the clean navigation menus on the device. I love the ZunePad, which is quicker and way more intuitive to use than the gimmicky Click Wheel.
I also really love the Zune software. It made me appreciate just how bad iTunes really is, which most seem to be in denial about, but ignorance is bliss as they say. I have every intention of buying another Zune when this one no longer serves my purposes.
If people would get over their prejudices about Microsoft and actually try the Zune, I'm sure they would be impressed by it. MS even deleted their own name from the product (it appears only at the bottom of the "About" screen) because of the popular belief that MS can't put out a "cool" product.
He had a 21 month sentence in a minimum security work camp a.k.a "Club Fed". Now he gets an automatic 10 years added on for escaping and he'll be doing it in maximum security "Pound me in the ass" prison with the real bad dudes. This guy really isn't very bright.
The specs on the two cameras, however, show the lower-resolution version to be faster: 1.4 seconds per capture for the H3DII-39 over 1.1 seconds for the H3DII-50. That could simply be implementation-specific, though.
Indeed, 1.4 seconds is a very long time to not move. Only useful for objects and scenery, certainly not going to do people or wildlife.
I do not think that means what you think it means.
It has nothing to do with shutter speeds. You just can't shoot again until 1.4 seconds, which is how long it takes the camera to process and write the image to the card. The camera has a frame rate of about 0.7 FPS.
I killed the old version I had (1.7-something), downloaded 2.0, fired it up. Nothing. "Your location is currently unavailable." Rebooted the phone, now it works great. It's showing the blue dot about half a block from my actual location. I'm well within the grey circle around the dot. Pretty awesome for not using GPS.
Just use lzip! 100% compression on any data, even if it's already been compressed by another utility! It works fantastically, but you may run into trouble if you try uncompressing the data.
You can change any of Opera's keyboard shortcuts, as well as mouse gestures. Look under the "Shortcuts" section of the Preferences dialogue (menu: Tools -> Preferences).
How could you forget the old M1 Garand rifle? Its feeding device (an 'en bloc' clip) is also correctly called a clip yet it is not a stripper clip. This rifle also popularized the use of referring to any ammunition feeding device as a clip.
When the US military switched to the M14 with its detachable box magazine, a lot of people still called it a clip, and it's been stuck in popular culture ever since.
But anyway you got it right with the last line about springs and followers.
"All in all, it is a surprisingly large amount for a country that doesn't go into military actions. Who are they defending themselves from?"
Red China and North Korea, for starters (who both have nukes, BTW). They don't exactly have the friendliest of neighbors over there. They would be stupid not to have a good defensive force.
What makes you think our military would have anything to do with actions against our own citizenry? This isn't 1938 Germany. Our military has more respect for our Constitution than 99% of our politicians do. They're the ones who uphold its values, the politicians are the ones who destory it. You've got it all backwards, friend.

Colossally Oversized, Ludicrously Big Effin' Radio Telescope.
Daryl Hall never gets invited to the fun stuff.

It's a trap.
..any way you flip it, you get fucked.
Can we please stop voting for Democrats and Republicans?

tl;dr: zune > ipod

from cnet we have:

WAIT! didn't that dude who was involved in the murder of Kennedy change his own Biography?
Lyndon Johnson has been dead for more than 30 years; there's no way he could edit his bio on Wikipedia...

The buildings may be intact, but they've probably been picked clean by the looters.
What's really sad is that people actually read Fark.

Both the Nvidia 6800 and ATI X800 run on the same ARB2 rendering path. Older cards have their own paths.

Here you go. Fap away!
I hold a US passport. Why can't that be a national ID?
..where's my Initech logo coffee mug?

Why isn't this game regulated by the DEA yet?
