No need to quit entirely if you have a couple of friends who enjoy playing. I use Magic Suitcase (http://www.magicsuitcase.org/) to create random booster packs. We then print these out using the 'print proxy' option. You can find the pictures if you search around google a bit.
Your descriptions brought back warm and fuzzy memories. I just finished Fallout for the Nth time a few weeks ago, but now I'm going to have to go back and replay Fallout 2 again.
Agreed. I was extremely nervous about Bethesda picking up the license. I really liked the little touches. The music, Ron, the same style in artwork. Here's hoping they pan out.
I certainly was not attacking those that enjoy the fluff movies. There are times when I enjoy completely mindless movies. They have their place the same as sports or action movies. The point is, the masses enjoy the fluff pieces because they can sit down and not have to dwell on the plot. It's fed to them in little bite sized pieces to allow easy consumption.
After seeing the screen shots, I'm a little worried about how the game will perform on my system. I understand that the PC has always been about pushing the graphical envelope, but some of these games (Supreme commander, Stalker, etc)are rediculous.
Not to feed a troll, but I tried Excite truck at a friends on Sunday. Since I absolutely loved the game, I'll be going out to purchase it this weekend. I'm sure it will be played quite a bit at parties, but I'm buying it for the single player action.
Agreed except for the DVD playback. I have a standard DVD player and an upconverting on my HDTV. I really don't need a third player. The hard drive on the other hand...
I returned that POS. It was so bug ridden that crash randomly within a 1-10 minute time period. Combine that with the absolutely HORRIBLE performance and it was intolerable. Neat idea, interesting story (from what I saw), but not worth the head ache.
I'm thinking about getting a 6Gig Sansa. $170, no software to install, pictures, video, voice recorder, FM tuner and mass storage. The wheel isn't quite as nice, but it looks like a better overall player.
A huge portion of the tenants moved out to the far south suburbs (Dolton, South Holland, Harvey, etc). The truly depressing news is that both Dolton and South Holland reported record foreclosures this year and over 97% of them were ARMs. They boot them out of the public housing and predatory mortgage companies eat them up. I still don't support the perpetually government teat, but this seriously damaged these towns.
I'm tempted to jump over the border, but Michigan and Indiana are nearly as bad. Things are looking very grim when we couple this with the impending property tax hike and the gross receipts tax. I'd like to give a big "Thanks for screwing us over!" to all politicians.
The only problem is that specialty brews are horribly expensive. I found one in Michigan (Bells Oberon) that's very tasty. The problem is, it's $9.00 a six pack! I replicated a similar batch in my home brew for about half the cost. Not quite the same, but still pretty decent.
I have two Nintendo GC controllers and two other off brand controllers. I picked up the wavebird after I got a Wii and I'm kicking myself for not getting one earlier. I miss the rumble, but it is a GREAT controller.
Simple. He doesn't want to inform, he wants to eliminate. He knows that he can't go after TV or movies because they're to far in the mainstream. Rap (mid 90s) and video games (now) are not.
Hmmm. Rent a shit hole apartment downtown for $1500 per month or own a nice 3-4 bedroom house that I'll own for $1500 a month. Some people don't enjoy living the yuppie life style.
And once again, you fail to realize that peripherals NEVER do well in the market place. The fact of the matter is that Both Sony and MS could develop their own motion sensing (Nintendo patented theirs), but it won't really catch on until the next generation when they bundle it.

I always hit the negative reviews first to see if there are any legitimate complaints. After that, I start working through the review sites.

And how many people will play the game completely oblivious to the political ideology? There's a reason why the masses love summer romantic comedies.
You've never been on I-294 I take it. They spiked the rates so that non-Illinois vehicles end up paying double.

It's not all bad. With any luck, he'll end up just like our last one.

Damage control.
I believe Universal HD is the one that has been airing FireFly in HD also. Good stuff.
I'm a little irritated because I just finished about a week ago. Now I have to wait for them to get VI out in 3D because I'm not buying it twice.
I'd love to open my own brewery... Now there is a dream worth aspiring to.
