How is it a sleeper? It's not made by Apple or Samsung, but it is being heavily marketed on TV and has solid reviews (aside from the atrocious Android skin) all over the Web...
Expect to see a lot more ads for: "UPSKIRT SHOTS OF DEAF CHIKZ!1one."
They should really require a strobe light to go off at the same time as the shutter sound.
Interesting... similarly... "New technology developed by Emory and Georgia Tech researchers could aid the early identification of people susceptible to Alzheimer's disease.
A portable device called Detect may provide an easier, less expensive way to test for mild cognitive impairment (MCI), which often leads to Alzheimer's. The test could provide potential Alzheimer's patients the chance to slow the disease's progress with medication before serious symptoms set in."
Check out the nearly identical picture.
A person who has never used a computer turns on three which are arranged in front of them... A Windows box, a Mac box and a Linux box... all look identical on the outside. They receive no prompting. Which do they begin to try to learn to use?
It seems to me the only people who really need this and happy about it are already or should be using truecrypt and the like. If only a niche market has embraced the current technology, shouldn't that be a tip-off that we don't want it shoved down out throats?
"Failure to state a claim upon which relief can be granted"?
I can think of some "relief"... the $476 million the RIAA is trying to part Limewire with.
It's also worth noting that just because you're in an un DRMed format doesn't mean you'll be able to keep it forever without converting. When the next big thing rolls around for portable music players, MP3 can just as easily be left unsupported.
True but it's a heck of a lot easier going from a widely used format with universal support (MP3, etc.) to the next format (so long as it's digital) than from a proprietary system that could be illegal to work around the DRM to the next format. Either way, I'm glad not to be locked in.
It will be interesting to see how many people stick with the iPod/Apple even as it loses popularity since their entire music collection is based on iTunes Fairplay music. Hopefully this could serve as a warning to the masses about DRM.
Isn't that sorta the idea behind Cambrian House?
"Within the crowdsourcing model, contributors to software projects earn royalties in the form of royalty points. If developed products are profitable, profit is shared among contributors based the contributor's share of the total royalty points."

Hmmm... but according to my research, it's just a harmless religion based on love and understanding of others. Why would Wikipedia ban such a group?
It's not Slashdotted, but here's a link anyway.

Another interesting study might determine how many posts a person usually makes before becoming registered...
The couple then placed the entire Bartow County Police Department under citizen's arrest for intimidation...
Ironic that the post here misuses the word...

I wonder if iTunes version 7 fixed the iTunes v6 FairPlay DRM crack. Has anyone tried it?

If by generous, you mean you can only play it on an Apple MP3 device... then yes, it's extrememly generous...
In other news... the Fisher Space Pen Company's stock is skyrocketing...
Can anyone honestly think of a better tax-haven than space? I mean really, what's the rate up there these days?

It works in Linux (Ubuntu tested) through Firefox so long as Ad-block is disabled.
garbage. Even if I could rip this straight from the stream, I wouldn't want to.
I for one welcome our young newt overlords.
I'm willing to bet Gmail isn't stored in a single location and Google has some sort of backup storage location.
