It seems to be easy to knock some more on Hans while he is down already. I don't know if he did what they say he did. it seems to be VERY complex (the trial) and... it seems that he was found guilty.
I'm using ReiserFS3 for a _LOT_ of years now and indeed everything is fine until something goes wrong. I had a LVM with Reiser on top and one bad disk. I paid the reiser team â50 to look @ it. They looked and told me step by step what to do. (buy new same disk, DD the disk,...) I only lost partial data from the disk that was broken. So no complaining about support.
I for one find it a pitty if we'll should never see ReiserFS4 finished. The modular architecture is very nifty.

Several articles from the same nature are spread to various different news sites with (the same OLD) Apple SEC Option backdating problem (that's already fully resolved) Jobs in trouble for the backdating 'under investigation by the FBI' like they will investigate if there is no complaint anymore, Jobs would be Ill again (not able to jump around on stage like MS balmer once did), he would be forced out by the other board members (yeah, that will happen), and so on and on and on...
main 'partner' in this is Citi bank. They've backed DELL too much and it gone bad. But they are in too deep with DELL. So they prais dell and FUD apple, moving apple money to dell. At the end, DELL will go down. They are REALY under investigation by the SEC, they DO have options issues, they DO strange things with money, they buy back own stock to get the stock price up,...

Did you look at the zune store... guess from where they copyed it ? So you are gona buy a Zune -- yet you still won't be able to navigate the shop.
My advice to you is : buy the brown one -- that will atract the most ppl to laugh at you.

Apple never gets lazy and keeps puching the envelope. Look at the iPods... They didn't get lazy for 5 ipod generations long... Look at the Macs,... transfering them to intel isn't a lazy move. Look at MacOS X... Switching to bsd, then switching to intel 64 bit... not a lazy move.
Every move apple makes is very focused and future oriented.
Err... have you SEEN the Zune? It's an OLD Toshiba mp3 player and looks like a plastic toy. I'd rather would want _ANY_ mp3 player above the Zune.
Then again. I have an iPod. I think it is cool and slick. And I'm pretty sure Apple will release my next portable music and/or video player before the end of the year.
It is normal that ppl who didn't bought an iPod but some thing else to say their player is cooler and better than the iPod.
The only thing I can say is that my iPod is cool and does all I want coz I don't know any other player. I've seen the Zen and that one is IMPOSSIBLE to navigate.
iPod may be lose some coolness coz 'everyone has one' but it will never lose it's edge.
And it's THE season, not A season. The movie (wich is in time after the serie) is superb.:) Loved the show. But sometimes good things don't get money anymore...
