Okay, Stupid Question Warning: Where is the best place to buy DS games? I feel like an idiot at EB because the section is so small and there is always a kid there I feel like I am tripping over. Online, I don't feel like Amazon's store style works well. I wish it were organized like the iTunes music store. Also, why do Nintendo's portable games seem to go out of print? The NES Classics series is a great example. Only the dreggs are left on store shelves. Also, lots of great GBA games are gone from the shelves and they are just finally releasing SOME games as Players Choice for this platform.
Once winds get up that high, nobody can hang on and they just get all mashed up into a pulp of hair teeth and eyeballs. Oh and lots and lots of blood. Those poor poor people. Somewhere Yoda just said "a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced..."
Seems like all the Walmart and Target CEOs need to do is produce an animation studio that puts Disney's to shame and join the Disney Board and become the largest shareholders at Disney in the impending purchase of said animation studios. Sheesh. They act like it would be so hard!
I expected this from Walmart, but Target? By the way, what about the DVDs that are $7.50. As a consumer I should be complaining that I can't download that from iTunes for $5.50. PLUS, its not like my broadband connection is free. Even forgetting the DRM, I liken the *SLIGHT* discount I would get if I cared to purchase The Little Mermaid as a bonus similar to the bonus I get from my Costco membership... Only broadband costs 3-4X more a year than Costco...
I was thinking the same thing. Look at the Gameboy Advance to Gameboy Advance SP cycle or the DS to DS Lite. What is to say that they won't release a minor update that enables HD and just plays SD games the same way ESPN shows SD TV (with bars on either side of the widescreen)... Oh, and the new video card (that I would imagine would be necessary) could do slick pixel shading or upconverting like the Bleem could do on Gran Turismo I...
Sure, Tony Hawk (1 & 2) didn't come out on the N64 first, but they sure looked better than on the PSX. Other games that ruled were Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire and all the THQ WCW and WWF wrestling games (No Mercy, Wrestlemania 2000, and etc).
Not to mention the ailments that gaming can produce... Oh yeah, I always take a 10-15 minute break every hour. Don't you?
From the Gamecube manual:
Playing video games can make your muscles, joints or skin hurt after a few hours. Follow these instructions to avoid problems such as Tendinitis, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome or skin irritation:
* Take a 10 to 15 minute break every hour, even if you don't think you need it.
* If your hands, wrists or arms become tired or sore while playing, stop and rest them for several hours before playing again.
* If you continue to have sore hands, wrists or arms during or after play, stop playing and see a doctor.
Game consoles should use swapable optical drives so when the machine gets Disc Read Errors, I can just go to the store, pick up a slimline slot loading DVD drive or Blu Ray drive or whatever and pop it in there.

also, I would seriously consider adding these guys for an interesting take on the business or literary side of science and technology:
Steve Jobs
Kurt Vonnegut
So Ken Lay dies and his estate will pay nothing for all the damage he did (not slandering here, the man was convicted), but the RIAA is going after this family. Someone has to fix this legal system.
the PlayStation Portable will be a 'remote control device' for the next-gen console
As oppose to the myriad of features that you've had to walk up to the console to perform all these years. Maybe that ENORMOUS panel of buttons on game consoles will now just disappear. Oh wait...
Thing is, even if you are right, at least the consumer has the option to buy a $399 System to play games or a $599 system to play games and movies. With a PS3, you don't have a choice. Period.

If collective intelligence is so great, why isn't it used to solve this problem?

Hmm... $2.00 discount for the first week. Sure sounds like the tried and true CD/DVD distrobution scheme to me.

I do frequent this tech message board that puts up the stupidest questions and stories sometimes...
I guess its because lawyers don't work on Saturdays?

Just wall mount an iMac. No Viiv out of the box, but you could install windows to get Window Media Player.
Those are all Apple iApps, so why not go after people using those terms too?
From the Gamecube manual:
So this is why MSFT fixed the Windows Media Flaw in 3 days...

Breakthrough discovery in Washington
By Alan Smithee, General Cool Guy
Washington - Man *thinks* he identified the answer to life, the universe, and everything. It *seems* to be somewhere between 38 and 45.
Please promptly place this discovery and Mr. Smithee's amazing journalism covering my scientific feat on Slashdot's main page.
Hit Ctrl+Shift+Del (Windows) and choose to make everything private data and check the box to clear it all when you close Firefox.
If Apple did this, Steve Jobs would announce that its available today. Who out there actually believes this will ever materialize?
Uh Oh, Looks like Solar System Warming is real after all.
They should have just posted the first page of Stranger in a Strange Land on their website.
DAMMIT...
