As I recall, "journalist" was the one job that ranked lower then "politican" in most polls in terms of respect. Unless you're referring to Jon Stewart.
No doubt. That doesn't stop people from doing it though. At the retailer where I worked over the summer, pretty much every day I worked I would find empty packaging slashed open, stashed somewhere out of place. This was with security cameras, store detectives, and employees and customers all over the place.
2) It is difficult for a thief to nick it. 3) It is bulky so if the thief stuffs it in their pocket, it is easily identifiable. Thieves don't need to steal the packaging, just what's in it. They just slash the packaging open with a razor.
Why, amongst every great post, does there usually exist a reference to humanity destroying itself?
It's probably better than every post including a reference to how humanity will be destroyed by alien invaders from outer space. Space invaders, if you will.
I meant it seriously, but someone with mod points thought it was funny...
One of the places I applied to work over the summer was a non-profit getting people to sign a petition to make it less easy for others to send their trash here. It's also been a bit of an election year issue.
Yeah, I meant to say that Blizzard's games debuted on Windows (or DOS) prior to the Mac version up until fairly recently. I guess with Diablo II they had both versions ready to ship at the same time. My issue with the original poster was his statement that Blizzard had always released Windows/Mac CDs. That said, Blizzard has been one of the few game studios to produce the Mac version themselves.
The CDs with both Windows and Mac versions didn't happen until sometime after the release of Starcraft. I bought Starcraft pretty much when it came out, and it was Windows-only. After the Mac version was released, they started putting both on one disc. I believe Warcraft III was the first Blizzard game to have both versions from the beginning.
I would think that if they wanted to, they could have included both the rumble and the tilt sensor, and just told developers to use one or the other, but not both.
As for Adobe, they just don't like you.
Sometimes I wish that my car was equipped like the ones in Mario Kart, so I could drop a banana peel or turtle shell to clear out tailgaters.

Then people will start putting themselves in suspended animation when they are near death so that the copyright will never expire.

Wait, "jet pack" implies that the pack is wearing you?

And then if you play them backwards, they'll tell you to worship the devil.

(I'm a fan of Canada, FWIW.)
Especially since there's a concerted effort in Michigan to stop the flow of Canadian trash.
I acquired PD Saga for about $100 on ebay. Then again, that was five or six years ago, so it could be more rare now.
Well, if you want more than one world, you'll have to buy the expansion pack(s).
Yes, why should we settle for hypoallergenic pets when we can have a race of atomic super pets?

I like that song better in the Wendy's commercial.

The one reason 802.11n is likely to replace home networks:
The salespeople at Best Buy will push the latest 802.11n router, regardless of the customer's networking needs.
I believe the QD is the post-sidetalking NGage model. No doubt elimination of that feature is why NGage isn't around to compete with the DS and PSP.
It'll be a whole new market for the iPod accessory manufacturers.
