Many universities make use of Blackboard software for the online portion of their courses. Blackboard gives its users a doubleclick cookie when logging in.
This reminds me of a situation that happened on my campus network. Somebody in one of the campus dorm rooms plugged in a router backwards. The router took down much of the network because it was serving up DHCP addresses. The IT people were able to track down the offending segment and shut it off within two hours.
The beta versions were final versions. They were released to the public via WU and also the automatic WU. The "final" version is anything but... it is just the latest current verson. Rest assured that there will be many more versions in the future.

Lye isn't that bad for you in small quantities. When in college, there was a neighbor across the hall that made homemade jumbo pretzels and dipped them in lye that was heavily dilluted in water before salting them. Me and my three roommates ate the pretzels with no side effects. One of the roommates, however, freaked out when he found out about the lye. This was after he had already eaten three or four of the pretzels. He called poison control and everything.
I am on a shared cell phone plan and was looking for a way to make cheap calls online. Can't beat free. Tried the free SkypeOut and it works great. I plan on using the flavor out of this until year end.

Why would anybody want to install their toolbar when they are known to be a spyware company?

The argument over the definition of a word reminds me of a quote from former president Clinton... "It depends on what the meaning of 'is' is."

In Soviet Russia, the bike rides you.
The problem is that the drop down list will never have an entry for the whole range of emotions one could have.
I doubt the drop down list will have entries such as:
snarky
frumpy
bleh
could be worse
'aight
whatever
Liger: cross between a lion and a tiger.
