People aren't willing to pay money for an answer over the internet. They know what they're looking for is there for free anyways, why should they pay more to have some geek tell them? I know the obvious answer is "it's a service you pay for", but that mentality doesn't seem to trickle down to the subset of Internet users that would actually benefit from this service.
Online Q&A sites are inherently flawed in their design. Unless someone comes up with a more unique (possibly more human?) method, no one will be truly willing to spend their money on Teh Intarwebz.
Will "THE NUMBER 23 IS EVERYWHERE" become a new slashdot phenomenon? God damn you Jim Carry! Wait.. if you take the number of letters in Jim (3), Eugene (6) and, Carrey (6) there are two 6s (2 * 6 = 12) and one three (1 * 3 = 3). Concat those and you get 123 and subtract 100 because one hundred is a perfect square!
I started out on RedHat 9.0 back in the day and installed all the newer Fedora Cores as they came out. I thought "man, this is easy. I'm Fedora 4 life!" but then it started to crap out on me, and I couldn't install it on some older boxes, so I tried out plain ole Debian. I did the net install version (a small CD iso that downloads only the packages you request from teh interwebz) and I'm still running it now. It's great. I turned a free donated computer into the (semi)-powerful web server I use for all my web development needs. Try it out. It'll only take a few minutes to download the net install version.
Considering God was supposed to have created the perfect system for his perfect creation (Humanity), wouldn't it make most sense for the system to adapt and evolve? It makes sense in other situations. Imagine the perfect computer system. Wouldn't it make most sense for it to be dynamic, able to allocate resources (CPU, bandwidth, etc) in places where they are most heavily requested?
Eh, just a passing thought I have from time to time. I haven't had a chance to state it as eloquently as I'd like, but the gist of it is there.
Prove to them that their actions are potentially dangerous to them: send them emails with Trojans and steal their passwords. When they turn to you and say "whahappin?!" just tell them that you did it and even though they're ok this time, next time it might not be you. People respond to fear.
I guess means no StarCraft 2. Should I be sad that I don't get to play a cool new version or happy that StarCraft n00bs won't rant about their 'sploits all day long? I can't decide.
that competition to compress Wikipedia down as much as possible for AI research? Have we made any progress on that or do I really have to upgrade my iPod?
In hindsight, yes. Yes it was a horrible scam, but then again I meant to invest in Billy Gates when he worked out of his garage. Dammit Gates! You owe me billions!

I live on the California coast you insensitive clod!
Please excuse my ignorance. For those of you who didn't know that 23 began elsewhere, observe.

Could you fit voice recognition software on a phone that already has the capabilities to take pictures, video, recording, play music, etc.?
It sounds to me like any OS that supports the QuickTime Plugin that allows JavaScript to be run in a movie would be affected.
Mmmmm, fishy.
The Christian tinge in my background doesn't seem to object to the notion of DNA. How exactly is it contradicting the bible?
Awww, look at cute wittle Adolph. His mother and father loved him dearly.

That's right! Now the Personal Computer is even more personal! The PPC Personal Personal Comptuer!
Or you could just memorize those 8 digits. That's just one more digit than a local phone call.
Sorry

You'd need to use all the memory the virus provides to store this semi-arbitrary name.
Forget Norway!
We're goin' to Kenya.
The real question is, though, will they taste as good?
Good BYEEEEE karma
