and even if it was possible, we'd be blind while we were invisible. invisible means that there is no light to reflect off of us so that other people can see us. however, if there is no light to reflect off of us, there is no light to reflect off of our eyes, which means we can't see.

  5. WoS on Fantasy Trumps Sci-Fi For MMOs · · Score: 1

fantasy is more popular than sci-fi for all rpg's (not just mmo's) because of what the summary says: guns. think of final fantasy 8 and final fantasy x-2. both featured guns, both were not the most popular games in the series. if gamers wanted to play with guns, they would play a fps. would World of Starcraft have been as popular as World of Warcraft is?

this system could possibly yield better voter turnout...if someone who wanted to vote republican lives in a traditionally "blue" state, they might not have voted knowing their vote wouldn't matter. if everyone's vote counted the same in the entire country, however, that person would be more likely to go to the polls.

Woohoo! PSP and DS killer, HERE WE COME!
actually, the PSP has already been killed BY the DS...remember? and if the Zune's main purpose isn't going to be gaming, then microsoft obviously isn't trying to kill the DS. in fact, this is just more evidence that microsoft is trying to "team up" WITH nintendo to fight sony (a Zune for your music and PDA needs, a DS for your gaming needs).

well, unlike me, you actually choose to use NUMBERS to back up your theroies!! amazing!! however, I still have to disagree with you. look: between 2002 (the first year that the console was widely available in terms of numbers) and 2004, the number of systems sold (per year) was cut in half. the only reason the sales went back up in 2005 was because of the "slim" PS2 that a lot of people bought, whether or not they already had a regular PS2.

  21. ummm...what is he thinking? on Xbox 360 Wins Through 2009? · · Score: 3, Interesting
The forecast predicts 10.6 million consoles in homes for Xbox 360, 6.8 million for PlayStation 3, and a modest 3.5 million for Wii in 2007. In 2008, Anderson suggests 15.5 million units in homes for the 360, 13.5 million for PS3, and 6.8 million for Wii.
so he is predicting that the PS3 and wii will each sell about as many units in their second year as in their first year. it's pretty basic knowledge that consoles, games, albums, whatever, always sell a lot of units at the relative beginning of their release before the numbers dip, often dramatically.
