I was mad it used the memory card port, because that meant it could only be used for the quiz games in Mario Party (and the team things), and Odama is just one player)

I don't want to sound like an asshole (And I am one, so it's hard for me to NOT sound like it :) ), but do you really think that the artist does all the work? In fact, that's what bugs me about the Downhill battle people (Not saying you are one), is that they say that the artist only gets $ .11 of the song, but really, the artist isn't the only person who does work. There are producers, editors, recording technicians, etc. And in the case of some artists, they don't even write the song. Then there is the whole idea that downloading a CD off of p2p and then sending a check for like, what, $5 or whatever you arbitrarily decide, to the artist is *okay*. It's not legal, and it's not fair. Even if you feel like you're being cheated, can you honestly say that it's okay to do that without the artist consent? That's like taking something out of someone's house, and leaving a check.

(Again, not to be mean to you, just pointing out something. And I agree, one dollar a song is kind of stupid sometimes :/)

Way to make a pointless post that has NOTHING to do with the game, and probably isn't true, while dissing an awesome musical group just because 11 year old girls like to listen to their music. The Black Eyed Peas didn't even *want* to release My Humps as a single, they just wanted it to be a filler-ish song. It's not nearly one of their best productions, and it isn't supposed to be. Now, if you looked past Monkey Business' fluffy pop outside (Don't Phunk With My Heart, My Humps, etc.), you'd see the true hits, which look back to a time where hip-hop wasn't about violence. Like That features artists with history, like Johnny Legend, Cee-Lo, and Q-Tip. Bebot is done entirely in tagalog. Feel It is a rare jewel, and Union floats the usual anti-war positive vibes, and it features *Sting*, okay? Please don't judge a group just because their latest run-away hit is completely trashy. And now I'm done with that surprisingly odd tangent.

  18. Re:Excellent on Neural Interface for Gaming Getting Closer? · · Score: 0

Hate to be pedantic, but here I go: The World of .Hack was never a "neurological interface". There were visors that allowed you to see into the game, but you would still be using a keyboard (At least, in most incarnations). (I'm not absolutely sure, and I think the interface does change for the different storylines, but in the AI Buster story line, which seems to be the most factually solid, because unlike watching an anime where the interface is up to interpretation, it actually SAYS what they do, Kamui/etc. are all using keyboards and visors.) The mystique of .Hack was that The World was affecting the real world and there WASN'T a connection to anything neurological. The entire idea was that everything centering around Aura was impossible. Infact, this is actually hinted to in a lot of Japanese/adapted Japanese material, IMO. There are a lot of small references in such genres that don't seem immediately important, but if you come back and look it over again, it's kind of freaky. An example of this is in The Ring. Noah says that the cursed videotape doesn't have a control track, which doesn't seem very important just watching the movie casually, but if you think about it, it means that the cursed videotape breaks modern physics. VHS tapes can have a video and audio track without a control track, or vise versa, but without a control track, the VCR or whatever *can't* play the tape. (Although that's kind of a bad example, since The Ring is an American version of a Japanese film made about a novel :/ So, if anyone would like to back me up, feel free. I'm thinking of another example, but I can't really remember the name right now)

  19. Re:OMG Sexism on An Editorial Melee About Female Gamers · · Score: 0

This isn't necessarily true; the cultures that chess is more predominate in are a bit less accepting of weirdness/breaking out of the status quo. In Japan, for example, there are tons of female Go professionals, who have to do MORE work then men because of their gender, and they can still beat the men! In japan, men can learn go instead of going to school, but female go players need to take classes and study go! (In china, both male and females can skip school for go). In fact, female go players are often much better at go then their male counterparts! I've experienced this personally, and believe me, saying that women can't be good at strategy or board games or whatever is completely wrong.

Creationism is a completely valid viewpoint, and so is evolution. They're both *possible*. I've always thought the internet was a place where you could get away from people being judgemental, conservative or liberal, believer in global warming or not. It isn't fair for people like me who are christians to be told that they're outright wrong.
