I know its stated in TFA, but such regulations only effect on campus students, and at a school like mine, that's only about 5-10% of the total student body. So this regulation most likely has absolutely no effect on 90% of the students. And even the freshmen on campus know the ways around it, one of my friends always just uses the wireless of his off campus fraternity house to do all of his illegal downloading.
Do you want to ban drivers from speaking to their passengers too?
No... no no no no! People in the passenger seat are not the issue, because they are aware of the environment around the driver. If the driver is about to run a redlight during the conversation, the passenger will hopefully say something along the line of "hey, don't run the damn redlight" On the other hand, the person on the phone is NOT aware of the environment around the driver, and will NOT notice such things. Studies have shown this if memory serves, but class just let out and I am unable to find them in time.
...That found it ironic that the name of the company that appears to specialize in Linux solutions has the word "Vista" in the name of the company? I mean, how old are these guys? was this planned?
So how are they not a religion? Just substitute "science fiction" with "fantasy" and you have pretty much every religion out there.
regardless of what I personally believe, every other religion, factually, is not a "money making scheme" because of the sole fact that the other religion's attempts to make money all hindge on the "good will" of others to give money. Churches (outside CoS) aren't "pay to play." but rely on donations to stay open. They don't charge you for coming to church sunday morning... if they did, I think about 90% of the people that go to church wouldn't anymore.
Although the argument could be made about the power grabbing... but calling every religion a money grabbing scheme is not only inaccurate, but down right stupid.
I yet have to find someone who can show me what it brings me, over XP, that is worth paying 100+ EUR for.
Thats a simple answer: Its not worth the upgrade from XP. If I had to pay for it (getting it free through university) I wouldn't be using it. I would only wait till I built a new computer, and even then it would probably dual boot to XP for better gaming.
So I'll get it out of the way now...

No matter how accurate it may be, it still shocks me that it is *the* go to source for OMGTHEGOVERNMENTRULESUSALLL!!!!! stuff... But it is really scary how accurate it is...
@Lendrick Hey, using the installation method you mentioned, can you use any of the online content? Installing a cracked version and then changing the registry to make it ligit... Can you then go to the spore servers sucessfully?
Or you can do what I did, My Caps-lock key is in a filing cabinet at home... I don't have to bother hitting it at all anymore... unless I get like a pencil to do it...
Well I love the idea of a VOIP call or something like that from my car... But the other implications that are caused by this are terrible... I've read amazon, WoW raids... No one wants these happening in the car next to them while traveling 60+ MPH... so why not have the Wi-Fi only functional while the car is in park? Or even better... let your specialized electronics stuff (GPS running via IP and whatnot) to have a specific MAC address that isn't restricted while driving while say your laptop would have to be registered with the car's computer... and as long as the car was in drive it would restrict the mac address...
say they do get these carbon tubing and other stuff that would massively accelerate the technology worlds... Would they have patents on them as well as the 20 million? If so why have the prize? you'll just have to licence the technology from them anyway, so who ever does will be dirt rich + 20 million in pocket... If there is a hole in my thinking... please point it out to me.
Ok, This may have already been said, but i dont have time to sift through all the comments... But why is it that the British Brodcasting Company is covring America's space program before any American news company covers it??

Heh, ya, well uh, I always got my stuff into something that wasn't in the instructions, when i got bored with it as is... It prolly didn't resemble anything in existance, but I liked it.

A chance at a _good_ sonic game since the genesis.
In some ways, this is actually a GOOD THING.
said slightly above this post...

"Come on, that'll never happen. Next thing you'll be telling me that in the future when I try to buy a book it'll be tied to a single device"
a majority of all book sales are restricted to a single device... its called paper
In that case, there is a simple solution to prevent any embarrassing moments ever again... an on\off switch!
uhh... dude? you think these things are bricks, go look at some old P2 processors.... those were bricks!
