FOR GEEKS AND PEOPLE WHO KNOW:
Firefox or Opera, depending on whom you ask
Whether it be the novelty of a Google browser or just the opportunity to try something new, I've read on numerous sources that Chrome is already being used by 1% of users on the Internet. Considering it JUST released 48 hours ago, thats not too bad. They already have a larger market share than Opera. That 1% is undoubtedly coming from Mozilla and Opera, and NOT from IE. I love the fact that if one of my tabs crashes it doesn't bring down everything. I love that it doesn't eat memory like mozilla. It appears to compete with Opera with speed. I like Chrome... and it's only in beta testing. Wait til it comes out for real, and then stack it up against Mozilla and Opera.
Okay, well then the real question, is what is REALLY so adventageous about higher motor skills, communication, etc.? And why were they adventageous for primates and not adventageous for dinosaurs or hermit crabs? Once again, I thoroughly believe in evolution, just curious.
Actually this is one of those things that I never really understood about evolution. (DON'T CALL ME A CREATIONIST!) As I understand it, evolution comes out of necessity. What was the necessity for higher levels of culture and language? Was it to compete with the Neanderthals?
male: "a thrifty, socially motivated dude has turned industry on its head with an astounding demonstration of scientific innovation and prowess beyond his years."
Some people might disagree with term limits for the opposite reasons. Sometimes, an elected official is so good that I don't think a term limit is necessarily justified. Who knows, Clinton, could easily still be President. It's diffult to say what might have happened, but you might as well keep these guys around until they truely deserve to be kicked out.
Wilderman's words into plain English: 'Mr. Deeb hasn't actually violated any law or regulation that I can find, but I don't like what he's doing because I'm ignorant and irrationally afraid of chemicals, so I'll abuse my power to steal his property and shut him down.'"
I think what's infinitly worse than government intervention in private matters is articles that are terribly slanted.
Why not Linux? Am I missing something here? Or is it just retro for the sake of being retro, if so, I'll probably break out my NES and we can have a party.
I've always wondered how much of this is just smoke and mirrors. I'm not arguing legality, but rather, I am arguing motive here. What I'm suggesting is maybe they put out threats like this to scare people more than anything. The threat of retaliation can sometimes be just as effective as retaliation itself. The statistics that may prove this point, of course, is the number of laptops actually confiscated for an indefinite amount of time.
Not to be that guy - but if MS ever came out with a comment like "Complete Privacy Does Not Exist". There would be little sympathy for them getting their asses sued off. Why do we care less about privacy when it's a company we like?
We hate him because he has tried to take away our rights.
In addition for crap, he's actually responsible, I've grown accustomed to blaming him for stuff he's not responsible for. So far his most punishable offense is allowing M.Night Shamaylan to do another movie.
I don't think this is really relevent since the article has to do with trademark instead of copyright. Since I doubt they use the same names for these drugs as the manufacteurer, and.. well as far as I know aren't under US copyright law, it doesn't really matter all that much.
Sometimes I just like to hang out by my microwave, talking on my cell phone, while enjoying a nice glass of diet coke. I'll prove these scientists wrong, and if I don't, well I won't be around to hear them gloat about it.

It's just too bad they don't have wired ethernet or video out.
Neither does the MacBook Air. Not designed to for that matter.
Another good idea dying on the vine caused by greed.
Greed doesn't seem to be hurting Apple or Dell or any other computer manufacturer for that matter.
Thanks a lot - that was actually one of the most helpful responses I've ever received on Slashdot.

The protection against unreasonable search and seizure was so important they knew about it hundreds of years ago.
Open up a history book. Our rights are periodically being trampled on throughout the lifespan of the US. This is nothing new.

If Dell, HP, GE outsource to India, don't buy their products anymore.
You're going to hurt the people working over there FAR sooner then you're ever going to hurt Dell, HP, or GE.
German police have confiscated the world's fastest office chair and arrested its 17-year-old inventors.
... until i saw the picture. Probably should've let someone know he was going to attach a rocket to an office chair.
We need term limits in Congress

bout time. This has been one of my biggest issues with the wii is that they didn't have content for mature audiences.

Slander and libel are illegal
Just about covers those two concerns.
It is ringed by a dark beach, where the black lake merges with the bright shoreline.
Sounds more like Jersey if you ask me.

And (of course) it all runs on Internet Explorer! Yeah... this is going to turn out GREAT.

It appears as though you're trying to make a right turn. A.) Turning Help B.) How to insert your keys into your car. C.) Get Help from Microsoft.com

You know what else helps have a big opening weekend? Making a good movie.
I'm just going to assume that whoever wrote this didn't actually see the movie yet.
