A college degree is just another way to market yourself. College degrees really aren't all that useful, as most of the classes you take are electives that you won't care to remember anything about, and the important stuff is usually outdated by the time you are in a real job. So yeah, college pretty much just shows you have the dedication to go through 4 years of bullshit, meaning you may be more reliable than someone who dropped out of college after a year or two. It doesn't mean college students will be smarter.
Yes! Punish users who choose not to defend themselves. If they can't take the time to read up on some basic security practices, then they shouldn't be using something as powerful as a computer in the first place. Maybe this will help cut back DDoS attacks.. If only we had a better way to find the controller of the botnet!
What bothers me is when someone continuously makes the trivial mistake over and over again - and you know it happens. That's when it's time for my superiority to kick in and teach that lazy, stupid, evil mistake maker a lesson!
Mistakes are OFTEN made because of laziness or stupidity. Everyone should try to do their best, and doing their best means avoiding any mistake possible. If people thought things through more and weren't so lazy and impatient, they wouldn't make 3/4 as many mistakes.
My company was DDoSed for several days last year and we are a law firm. We used every resource possible to try and crack down on this attack, but there were no leads or links back to the attacker as all the IP's were zombies.
It's virtually impossible to find out who is behind the attack, as the attacker never sends any packets from his IP.
They say you're brain is active after death for about 40 days (electrical signals). This is what I believe is heaven/hell for people and then we slowly fade as an individual and become one with the universe.
It's about time we got our freedom back! How long has marijuana been illegal? Almost a full century. How long have humans been enjoying marijuana? Several thousand years! Why, in ONLY our last century was it made illegal? Why, after thousands of years, all of a sudden, the government is so afraid of it? They don't give reasons as to why it's illegal and treat peaceful potsmokers like dirt!
It's time for the government to grow up and stop being such a baby! Just because you don't want to enjoy marijuana, doesn't mean I shouldn't be allowed to. Stop being greedy you damn cry babies!
