at 8$/hr youre probably better off than a LOT of other interns in other fields, or even your own. When i graduated in 2002, I was one of the lucky few who even got a PAID internship, at 5.15$/hr, everyone else i knew had unpaid internships, a lot of them downtown, costing them about 15$/day in parking.
Take what good learning experience you can from it, but youre more likely to get a job elsewhere.
Considering private universities have been known to charge easily 20 to 35k a year per student, this really doesnt seem like that big of a deal, 20-35k times 3 or 4 thousand... this wouldnt even make a dent in it!
thats because the macbooks dont use that pesky thing called 'fans' that most other notebooks use to cool themselves off. they use giant heatsinks that weigh about as much as a human lap or desk!
GM probably had this stuff in planning years and years ago. only now theyre in a state of panic because their low gas mileage / still more unreliable cars are selling for crap.

for sure there is imbalances but they all have their downfalls as well.
Rogues cheat death is basically useless now, im actually pretty sure its broken unless you need 500 resilience to have it be effective, mortal strike warriors can generally crush rogues without trying. However, resto druids are one of those classes where i cant actually find a reason theyre not imbalanced.
root them in place, they shift out of it, wing clip/crippling poison/frostbolt/etc. shift out of it, all the while HOTs on them. it literally does take 4 to 5 people just to kill one, especially if they are wearing good resilience gear. did i mention i hate swiftmend?
unless linux truly becomes as easy as running windows for most people, it will never gain ground. I watched 3 people used to using windows spend an hour and a half trying to figure out how to install firefox on a redhat box, they gave up eventually.
