I agree with most of your point, but the rule on possesives is stupid, and stupid rules should be changed. If an inanimate object can be placed in a possesive construct in exactly the same way as a noun object, then it should be punctuated the same way. It's silly unintuitive gotchas like that that cause confusion and lead to people sticking apostrophes all over the place.
Am I the only one who didn't know about this movie? Yes...can anyone fill me in on why they like this show? Because it's bloody entertaining. Go borrow/rent the DVD and watch it, that'll be worth far more than testimonials.
If you've only seen one episode, see a couple more. Rent the series DVD, or if you're really tight, download a couple of episodes ("The Train Job" or "Our Mrs Reynolds" perhaps). If you're so convinced that it's not worth watching that you won't invest the time to see a couple more episodes and decide for yourself, then nothing anyone says here is likely to convince you. On the other hand if you're going to be open minded about it, an hour or two of your time watching what I think is some of the best tv sci-fi ever can't be that painful, even if you don't end up liking yourself.
I just did, in use it's pretty much exactly like quick searches. Only difference is you don't have to set them up yourself. They've even picked many of the same keywords I use for my quick searches.
Unfortunate, though, that it can't be used as a shining, piracy free star in an otherwise ugly niche of the internet.
Ummm, I think the boat was missed on that one some time ago dude. Don't know where you've been, but bittorrent is the pirates tool of choice for fast distribution of new "warez".
It's frequently pointed out how reliable Russian space gear is supposed to be. But it's important to remember that their gear usually got that way by lots and lots of trial and error. Fortunately the Soyuz lifeboat, should they need it, is tried and tested - I'm guessing that oxy generator isn't (yet).
Nice of the author to use a 950 pixel fixed-width table for his article, you'd think an article on this subject would be written so as to render nicely on a PDA.
This seems to be another step in the battle that's as old as the web, over who gets final say as to how a web page is presented.
I feel the (Firefox) user should, and generally is going to have the edge, what with the uriid extension to apply site-specific CSS, greasemonkey, and other tools. But page producers always have wanted to dictate exactly how their pages appear to the user, however misguided that is, and I doubt the battle will ever be over.
People will believe you when you say it's big. Be sure and try to provide a testimonial about your wife or girlfriend or kid who complains about the size of it.
That's just sick dude, leave the kids out of it;-).
What exactly is the point of using an acronym which you then have to spell out? I mean IANAAE (I am not an acronym expert), but I thought the point of acronyms was brevity?
I don't know about that, there's ovbiously a lack of OSS spelling tools. The word you're looking for is "syllabus".

Or maybe because they know the open source community will fill that gap, probably in better ways. I mean, how many ways do Firefox users have to use google - Googlbar/Googlebar lite, quick searches, "i feel lucky" via the address bar, the built-in search box of course, etc.
IOW he's trying to patent any use of LED lighting anywhere in or around a toilet. Surely the requirement for inventions not to be obvious would prevent this patent from being granted.

I like the recursive nature of this item though, maybe the guy is a GNU fan.

Shit, I just bit off the end of my thesis!
Maybe it's just me, but seems like a bit of a sketchy idea.
Just goes to show, if you're going to post anything risky, post as Anonymous Coward ;).
Did I miss something huge?

I haven't RTFA, but the example in the summary sounds pretty much like quick searches anyway.
But this is about getting rid of viruses, not catching them!
.. when the motherships get here. And then we'll send Will Smith in to say "Welcome to Earth!".
What you're saying is "any game more advanced than tetris is bloatware, and who wants to watch movies on the move anyway, read a book."
I can't decide if you're a troll or just a luddite.

Nothing for you to see here. Please move along.
How appropriate.
I hated Quantum Leap, and found Bakula very annoying in it, and I have to say he actually exceeded my expectations in Enterprise.
I have yet to understand why anyone ever liked Quantum Leap - it was like an entire season of trek where every single episode was a holodeck piece.

Erm, straight back at ya dude.
I think you need more blank lines in your posts.
I mean you can't have to many.
And blank lines are free, after all.
Just my 2 cents.
