The specific upgrades in this "remake" I'm interested in are longer battery life, brighter screen, and sleeker design.
Sony never did beat Nintendo in the handheld market so the DS isn't getting any revenge. We'll have to see that about the Wii vs PS3.
It's hard to say what CC2 will be like based on the GC version. It may have a totally new control scheme, especially that it's an action game. We'll wait and see.
Now that you mention it, the ball does resemble a testicle. And the paddles resemble "you-know-what." In fact, characters in early games were pretty much nude and they didn't even hide the content.
It's funny how you refer to Iraq as "conquered land." I guess different people see it differently. I thought the war was to remove a tyrant from leadership.
It is foolish to think that invading a country means destroying a culture.
I don't care about Iran having nukes as a "slap to the West" as much as "discount nukes for Osama and friends." That is a scary thought.
You seem to know something about the Iranian military, but what do you know about the American military?
I guess there's plenty of room for new talent. But we have many old players who have taken risks and are willing to take more. Hideo Kojima, Sid Meiers, Will Wright, and Shigeru Miyamoto come to mind.
"...Revolution makes it seem if you don't use the capabilities of the new joystick your game will suck."
That's why there are many peripheral add-ons and Gamecube controller ports. And the joystick ain't the "revolutionary" feature of the controller. This is similar to the DS. Many great DS games don't use the touchscreen.
The Revolution's controller isn't a limitation, it only opens up new possibilities.
It's true that it will be difficult with the low specs (though, we don't know the official specs yet). As for controls, the Revolution will have peripheral addons to the remote controller, as well as the Gamecube controller ports.
How often do you see innovative titles like Nintendogs and Brain Train top the charts. In the US it's usually the FPSs and EA sports titles. That's not to say there's no innovation in the US, but it just doesn't sell as well.
I wonder what Star Wars and Lord of the Rings games are in development.
The ones at E3 had wrist straps.

I heard something about it back in 1963.
Especially now that it's on /.
"That Korean got l33t skillz."
Well, there's a "hentai" tag.

I read in a science magazine that 55% of statistics are not surprising.

I read in a science magazine that these names are 50% unoriginal and 50% lame.

It wasn't me, it was the one armed babybot!

then they start a year early then circumstances change then they fail everybody then they get stoned to death. the end.
It says Games: Big Three Confirm Pre-E3 Events.
Nintendo patented the hell out of their controller.

omg don't encourage those people.

It's control mechanism is simply too specialized to fit most games.
For most existing games. Nintendo just created room for many new creative ideas, and I have no doubt we will see them soon.
You're still doing it with your thumbs. >_ It's about time for something new.
