Thirst for Coltrane Fueling African Conflict? See there is a place for Jazz in the world... But liked him before he got clean man... No junk... No soul...
When you see the sand left in the hour glass you have two choices:
Watch it and wait
Or move on and feel as though you can complete all you need to complete
To everyone who hasn't has to glance at the sand and make that choice, it's disheartening how many people don't chose to live life as if they could be taken away at any moment. As someone who even had to THINK about it, it saddens me that I cannot live my life ready to leave at a moments notice. But, at least I didn't stop to watch the sand flow out and neither did he. He has my respect for that.
every time he'd say the word "webinar" a peice of me died a little inside
THANK YOU First time I heard this was from our marketing guy my response was along the lines of a shutter and yelling at him to NEVER use that word again in front of me. They are web presentations. Webinar is a new word for the bullsh*t bingo card.
You know how we have Godwin's law about Nazi Germany? Does anyone know if there is one about Orwell? I mean, it's fitting, but we'd be hitting it a lot lately.
The hero will get a rez and be back to fight the boss monster next week.
If it's like any MMO I've ever played he'll be back to fight the boss next week. And the week after that and the week after that... until that boss stop giving exp... then on to the next boss... lather, rinse, repeat
We'll see in they try to make it a detective story with Rorschach being a more hard core Batman falsely imprisoned and having to find his old ally or the "ends to a means" social commentary story about creating a greater foe in hopes that everyone will join together to create utopia. The fact that costumed adventures are there just happen to be part of their world is just a side effect. Sadly, I think it will be the first with much of the explanation for the characters actions being left on the cutting room floor... But what can I say? It will be Pawn who closes his eyes and says mother, but Rorschach that opens them again.
Thanks, I worry not! But, if I was going crossing Third Street then the Ohio river I'd just take the I-471 Bridge (Newport is the next exit), not the logs as my unfortunate amphibian ancestors did before me.
it's 'innovative' as it uses voice recognition to command troops
Imagine a Wii version (of which there doesn't seem to be one). headset, controller, and nunchuck. You are aiming and ducking and weaving all the while shouting commands that are misheard by your troops... All the fun of getting PTSD without leaving home! I'll stick with BioShock and Fear for a bit longer.
You know, it's just across the river and I never go. Frankly, they need to do something to draw people back to the levee. The Parking is pricier than I'd like and the shops are closing down, but, I will agree the Aquarium is nice to visit and there are 2 DDR machines in Gameworks... At least, last time I went
Completely unaware of the fact There are some scripts and jobs that have my user ID as the login. I'm not sure with ones, and I know the scripts I use for tests use my User ID. It sounds like he kicked off a script/job with his local user for access and they laid him off WHILE it was running on the server. Killing his access didn't kill the script/job but it did mess it up and taking ownership of it may have been a pain in a ass.
Everyone must have the right to insult and offend and wipe the butt clean on the holy books of every damn religion out there.
If you're defense of your religion is in the courts when you are offended by someone then both your religion and your faith in it is weak. Perhaps you should take another look at your faith and where it is placed. I may not like you bashing my faith but won't it do more good to debate you about the merits of my faith than to threaten legal action against you? Who knows I may get you to see things the way I do.
Then again, I don't like people who try to get people to see the world like they do by force either...
Also..it IS a BETA (test). Once they are out of BETA they might actually have to apply HIPPA.
Gmail, google maps, and google talk are still in beta but that hasn't stopped people from widely using them.
I think your first piece of advice is the best piece there blue canary. If you are worried, then don't use it. I personally want as few people as possible handling my medical records.

thank you. Shudder it is
What does this do to Diablo III? I hope they don't over commercialize their better blizzard offerings with in-game ads.
Yes, but we put them all in Washington D.C. so I can avoid them
Most likely a mondegreen having only ever heard the onomatopoeia for when a recoil happens due to shock and not seen it spelled out.
You know, it's much easier to call it an apathetic sausage fest... Wait, you meant literally?!
Eeeewww.... I knew I liked the real world better.
THANK YOU

That's why an mp3 from an CD is not covered but a new song created by someone sampling pieces off of a cd would....
Where's my Drum machine
Or a giraffe or the puma! They just don't exist except in paperback books of fantasy!
You know how these Luddites work...
I mean let's face it, once they're made up their minds you can't Torquemada anything.
Everyone knows the volume only goes up to 8, maybe 9 if you're in Spinal Tapp
Oh! I love it when you talk all statistical and scientific to me! Giving me the hope of REAL data... but alas you dash my hopes...
Ahh Zeppepcs' Law?

Hey! It worked in Blazing Saddles...

Nothing childish...just bad timing....
