Sorry, my 'one movie this year' was Watchmen. I think I made the right choice.
Man summer hits and people quickly forget there was 6 months of the year already.
What they don't want is for everyone to be "educated" before winning the court case. Otherwise, people will see the tactics they use and the unwashed masses may become actively hostile toward their cause.
The unwashed masses just can't get enough of tort on TV.
This sounds more to me like giving your soul to your wife, then when the Devil asks for it you say 'sure!" and get a free donut. Then when the devil demands your soul, he can't take it because you were already under contract with your wife.
I'm not too familiar with British government, but from what I do understand; when the House of Lords comes out on the side of reason and personal rights, doesn't that signal the end of days?
He also called the game 'the script from hell' and had something like 18 hours of dialogue in it.
Personally I'm shocked and amazed that Sierra hasn't kept that series going, out of all the "quest" games QFG has the best opportunity to move into the new era of games with its RPG aspects (maybe even an MMO)
It's probably more to do so with the state trying to lease out the NJ turnpike and Garden State Parkway. They don't want the image tarnished to potential lessees. Not that the people of the state will ever go for it, but since when did our legislature ever listen to the people of NJ? They're too busy trying to ban texting while driving, smoking while driving and ignoring corrupt politicians and police.
I avoid contact with people in online games. If this means I miss out on quests, fine. I didn't get into gaming to meet people - I got into gaming to get away from them. I've seen the way my fifty-something mother gets hit on by idiotic 17-year-old boys on WoW, and I'm not interested in that. I just want to run around killing things and gathering items. Then why don't you just play Oblivion?
Maybe, but only if you have the right to set up your own server ala FreeEQ. Blizzard's already been shown to be vehemently against that with their fight against the free Battle.net
Clearly though, 24 isn't the problem in that situation. It's the military training.
In the military there IS a class during basic training on the Geneva Conventions, but it's hard to retain information when you're on a 6 hour sleep schedule and just did 2 hours of physical fitness right after waking up.
The PTC has been going after violence for years. Usually it's against pro-wrestling (specifically Smackdown on UPN) and they've been rather unsuccessful. They even lost a lawsuit to the WWF a few years ago for lying to advertisers.
HA! The vast majority of the gaming schools are more expensive than state universities by a long shot.
In 2003 I started going to the University of Advancing Technology (a gaming college in Tempe, AZ) and the tuition was ~110/credit hour. In mid-2004 I had to leave because tuition made its way up to over 300/credit hour. All because they wanted to build unnecessary dorms (there are cheap apartment complexes across the freakin street).
A BS in Computer Science or BFA is ten times more valuable than a gaming degree and probably cheaper to get in the long run. It's also useful for careers outside the gaming industry for when the developer who took the chance on you folds up.
Hey I don't think I'd mind if I could watch tv without actually having to consciously watch the commercials (not that I really pay attention to them anyway)
Why don't they just pass something giving a small tax break to retailers who regulate themselves on sale of M and AO rated games to minors (many of whom probably already do? (I don't know, last time I bought a really violent game as a minor was Mortal Kombat and that's what started this whole mess)
I'm slightly confused here. It's legal to borrow a CD from someone and copy the music since you paid a levy for the blank disc.
How is uploading any different than being the person loaning the original CD?

Wish I knew that 8 years ago
Is it the shoes?

Wasn't aware that baseball was so influential in France that they write laws based on its rules. I thought that was something we only did here.

British Parliament sues Australia for copyright infringement.

Hooray back to the dark ages! My medieval weapons collection won't seem so nerdy then!
Which is exactly what it seems this guy wants to do and they won't let him.
Yes it is, which is exactly why it'll never happen

Remember the good ol' days when people would just burn effigies of those they didn't like?

Well he is the world's most famous game designer, the first is of course...Derek Smart.
Oh wait that's infamous aint it?

I would, publishing a video in a newspaper must be an incredible feat!

You can't do employment applications with Firefox either, I figured that out a few weeks ago.
