    Heard about this a couple days ago. The no touching is actually a response to a "No Tag" decree that came down right before. My guess is that there was probably a call to an insurance company right before and this is the reaction to it.

    More anecdotal evidence: Looking at the several people I know who switched from cigarettes to e-cigs, this is common. At least you can control it.

    Hulu is as well for a little bit more money. Check out UnoTelly.
    I setup my Openwrt dnsmasq to automatically foward anything for netflix.com and hulu.com to their DNS. This way I only use their DNS where it is required

    I have 10.1 on my S4. I had it on within 24 hours of getting the phone. I find the Samsung ROM too busy and flashy. But I am waiting for the issues around the camera to be dealt with before trying it out.

    I have a PVR (well not for long as I am cutting the cord on the 23rd) and I download (yes pirate) shows rather than record them. Why? I don't feel like skipping 40 minutes+ of commercials of a 2 hour special. Once you get used to downloading all the time you don't need to see it at the same time it airs and even more so you don't need a PVR.

    Now with HuluPlus from what I have seen (just got it a week ago and haven't played with it much) their commercial is tolerable.

    Chrysler decided that if Toyota's name can be tarnished with the whole Prius debacle they should do something. What is stupid is that their solution is installing a hitch. Probably could have gotten away with installing a gas tank skid plate which is cheaper than their hitches.

    Look at the YMCA personal trainers, ask them about their "mandatory" volunteering they do each week

    "But isn't the YMCA a charity you ask?" Why yes and no. The YMCA that gives aid to the homeless and such sure but the gym portion is a whoooole different entity.

    I knew an accountant who used to audit them and trust me they knew how to work the system and what was right and what was wrong.

    E-collar? Put that on your kid and see how they react (or Children's aid). The latter two suggestions are the right answer. If you have to resort to shocking your dog then you are doing something wrong.
    Your second paragraph is very true, we are becoming more and more aware that animals are not purely instinct driven. Well they are but so are we, we just don't realize our needs and wants are just that.

    Let alone the fact that all international travel enters Israel through 1 (ONE!) airport. The Israeli method doesn't scale well. What works for them is impossible in a larger country with a multitude of entry vectors.

    Didn't the Department of Energy do a study and found that if a dirty bomb went off, the worst of it would actually be the initial (conventional) explosion and ensuing panic? Essentially dirty bombs are equivalent to the boogy man

    Let's see:
    Ice storm of 98: Cell coverage was spotty. POTS worked fine.
    Great east coast blackout: Cell coverage was non-existent. POTS worked fine
    Earthquake couple years ago (it was a 6 which is huge for this area): Cell coverage was crap since every body was calling everybody else. POTS... was fine
    See a pattern?
    At least with the wired power has never been an issue since it gets it from the switch. Before the blackout we had got rid of our wired phone and had only cordless. At that point I was thinking of getting rid of our wired connection. That changed my mind.

    Is that they didn't marandize (Is that a word?) him when they took him into custody claiming national security precedence or something like that. I doubt he will get off or set free but I wonder what the fallout is.

    What he also didn't say is that if you build it yourself and sell it to someone intending to commit a crime and know that is the case, You obviously don't really care about the legality of it all. Which kind of points out the whole uselessness of gun laws in general. Doesn't do anything for the criminal just annoy and make it more difficult for the law abider

    Also if someone can 3d print a gun and get about 50 shots out of it reliably, they will use them. They will just use them only to 49 shots and start using a new gun. Treat them as disposable and it should be safe. Of course that is assuming they can get them reliable to an extent.
    Personally I think you won't see anything really change. Sure there will be some gang who will try it out but there has been no shortage of guns acquired already through illegal means that it probably won't become a serious issue. If it did, they would probably make it you need a license to get the materials to manufacture out of.

    My Nexus 7 fits in my 3/4 length jacket pocket. So did my Rim (sorry Blackberry) Playbook that I bought first. When I finally got fed up with the Playbook and decided to go Android instead I had the choice of going either Nexus 7 or 10. I chose 10. I usually use mine on the bus commute to work and it is nice to be able to pull it out of my jacket pocket and on the rare occasions that I don't get a seat I can still use it one handed. 10" would have been too clunky. Now if I was only using it at home I may have looked at a 10" for the extra screen real estate.

    #4 Can you buy a bluetooth headpiece and pair it with your phablet?

    If so then the first 3 arguments are moot. I think most people who are buying them recognize that in most cases the "ablet" portion is more important for them than the "ph" portion but don't want to have a phone and a tablet.
