  1. Moving disks are old SSD is in on Seagate Claims 2.5" SCSI Drive is World's Fastest · · Score: 0
I do not understand why large companies like Seagate are not jumping on the bandwagon for SSD. http://www.pqi.com.tw/news_1.asp?ID=1444

SSD is the big hit right now. No moving parts increased redundancy no seek time. It wont be long before these things start outperforming typical moving disks. I wouldn't be suprised if they don't do that already. The price on the SSD are high but not redonkulous.

Thats fine and dandy this is where you do not fall into the "Steep learning curve" I was refering to with Linux. I am a Microsoft guy and I plan to stay that way. My point was we have people complaining about the steep learning curve with Office 2007, yet they insist that everyone use Linux even if you are a Microsoft guy cause to them "Microsoft sucks"? Well that doesn't make sense. But you fall in the "Use Unix/Linux" catagory because you know how it works. Asking you to Administer a Microsoft network would not be right because of the potentially steep learning curve. Oh and on the Mac bit...It's more like buying a Playstation 3 over an XBOX 360....Your paying more for the same thing.

Work generated outside the scope of his job belongs to the employee. Unless he was told to program this it is under the ownership of the employee.

Works Made by Employees A work created by an employee within the scope of his or her employment is a work made for hire. The employer for whom the work is made is the "author" of the work for copyright purposes and is the owner of the work's copyright (unless the employee and employer have agreed otherwise).

Example: As part of his job, John, an employee of Big Co.'s training division, created a training film using Big Co.'s facilities. Even though John created the film, Big Co. is the author for copyright purposes. Big Co. owns the copyright in the film (unless John and Big Co. have agreed in a signed contract that John owns the copyright).

The work made for hire rule does not give employers ownership of works made by employees outside the scope of their employment.

Example: Darryl, an engineer at Productions, Inc., wrote the script for Productions' newest multimedia work on his own initiative on weekends. Because Darryl did not write the script within the scope of his employment, the work made for hire rule does not apply. If Productions wants ownership of the copyright in the script, it must get an "assignment" (discussed in "Assignments," later in this chapter) from Darryl.

If you can't hang on to a controller or control your ADHD then that's your fault not Nintendo.

It can kill unexpectedly. Kill televisions, that is, especially expensive HDTV's. With a flick of the wrist.

You know what? I could get pissed off and throw my PS2 controller at my TV and have the same affect. It would be just as equally my fault for being a dumbass and letting it go. I should have controlled my anger such as a Wii user should control there hyperactivity.

If your commercials show beautiful people thrashing about in the throes of videogame ecstasy...

Thrashing?? No the people in the commercials are controlling themselves. There not playing EXTREEM BALLS TO THE WALL BOWLING!!! Where the point of the game is to chunk a 6 lb. ball in hopes of taking out the back wall.
