No, you don't have to do anything about violent games and movies.. all you have to do is make it illegal to carry/own fire-arms.. As long as the american people want to be able to buy guns and carry them, the problem won't become less (as you can never fully make it safe anyway).
One of the bigger moronic suggestions is arming teachers with guns, yes, that what you really want, more guns in a school. THINK YOU MORONS!
Do they have so many employees that those 'fake' reviews (as maybe some of them actually like the game), that it would really influence the total number for the game?
Except Apple weren't the ones who had the idea of the notch first (again a rip-off of other designers), it was an android phone called essential which had it first (way before anything was known about the iPhone X).. And Apple also wasn't the first with the removal of the 3.5 jack, some cheapass android phones already were shipped without it, and to me it certainly is no loss, haven't used it on any of my phones, and never will.
How is this design based on Apple's iPhone X, even though an Android phone had it first..... The android phone Essential was the first with a notch, NOT Apple... But hee, you can see what kind of apple fanboys those techsites really are...
Because robots provide a much higher consistent product, can do it much faster, can work 24/7 without having to change shifts, no need to take any safety procaution, so can actually do it's work in a much smaller room (so more lines could be stacked upon each other in one room), and are less prone to 'sickness' as a human (with that I mean, they break down less than a human). So there are so many reasons why it's better to use a robot.. Also robots have become much better and much cheaper the last couple of years.
Uber and Lyft should be banned........ If I can't own my own selfdriving car, then nor should they be able to own and operate those cars. Uber and Lyft both have shown not to actually be very nice and just go ahead with their services in areas even though they know it's illegal for them to operate, but hope the legislation will turn around and make it legal what they do..
comparing the engine with an EV which is powered by fossils fuel electricity..... Marketing at work again.. No their new engine (which is only still in theoretical stage) is not cleaner than any EV. when it comes to the car itself, it's still much MUCH more polluting than an EV by itself. And we want to get rid of those localized polluters.. It's easier to clean/reduce pollution from one big giant plant, than a gazillion small ones (cars)..
And since most countries are already setting in motion laws that prohibit sale of new ICE cars by 2025-2040, these new engines don't have a chance, as they are still ICE's and we should really get away from those and only resort to ICE in the most extreme situations where EV might not be possible (so that certainly rules out ownership by private citizens).
Especially with these large fastfood restaurants chains, and it's very factory/formula based foods. It makes sense to just use robots/machines to prepare the food (it's all exactly the same, so a robot should be able to handle it even better than a human without the need for safety measures which require pretty some space. At our MacDonalds here in the Netherlands, we're already used to order/pay at a touchscreen and only wait until our food is prepared to be handed over to us by a person. But the whole preparation of the food could be done by machines and just dump it on a tray and put it in a slot on the counter. Only a skeletoncrew needed to keep an eye on everything.
I agree with those people, it should have been a choice and not hardcoded. Let the people have the choice to use it at normal speed but with shorter operating time or reduced speed but with 'normal' operating time.. People know batteries become crap after a few years.
Why? the article is incorrect in saying OLE superseded DDE, DDE also has some other advantages which OLE doesn't do, they are actually 2 completely different things. And also, I always learned, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Do be honest, the current Office365 is really REALLY crap compared to the older versions (webbased isn't even funny how crap that one is).
You mean to say, I don't know how to handle memory management and go does is all for me, without me knowing what it actually does, but it seems to work......... Oh please, Go is just Yet Another Programming Language which wasn't really necessary, but purely because some devs just didn't like other languages (or didn't know how to handle them properly).
This is a funny outcome, as the US courts think they have any jurisdiction over other countries by doing exactly the same as the Australian court. So with this outcome, it also nullifies any US court decision on any other countries judgement.
Well, if a website follows standards than the browser should do what the behaviour of this standard is, not what it wants to do itself because it wants to look like it can perform better (than just optimize the browser so it performs better and still does what has been set as the standard). Also native apps are going the way of the dodo, if a website can do exactly the same as a native app, but works on 'all' platforms, why would you even bother with going native.. (That doesn't mean I agree with the stance, as these days applications have become so unoptimized due to most developers not even knowing how to do actual optimization, but hee it works, just buy a faster computer with more memory).
In the eye's of the US it might not seem fair, but that's more because that country already lags behind most other countries, so it's harder for them to keep up and in that regard it seems like unfair for them, but it's their own fault for not doing something about it earlier. All countries have the same restrictions...
If they remove the dutch CA, then they should also remove every american CA as they have the same duty to obey to create certificates if an US government agency asks them to (and in most cases aren't even able to talk about it).. So blocking the dutch CA is only a very hypocritical move if they don't do it with other CA's.
Ofcourse coders should test their own work (it amazes me how many coders don't even do a simple check on changes when checkin their code in), but there should always be a tester who tests the working of the changes, ALWAYS..
Actually it's the other way around, Apple has been copying Android phones for a long time.. The notch? Not Apple's invention...
I think I know who funded this research/article........

Yep, but instead he got fired! I'm curious if they will reinstate them now it's clear he just did was he was supposed to do.

It's time the EU put's a stop to this..

Actually it isn't broken, it does what it needs to do... but others can misuse that functionality..

And that's why self-driving cars should really be selfdriving and not having to rely on any extra maps.
I already really hate in-browser applications due to the tabs.. so nope..

Just shows how crap face-id really is, and it also shows how Apple has tested this feature... like not..

So when does he shut his own website, as that's also just 'social media'....
