Re:This makes it sink?
And who promised a January 1 2018 publication date for his opus "Unemployable"?
You could always read the poems for free.
And who promised a new video every Friday, then slipped... and stopped? (Mercifully).
60 videos over nine months (36 weeks) is 1.67 videos per week. It's now every Sunday.

creimer is fat and a gay! Everybody say 'Yay!'
He's a morbidly obese blob who used to spam Amazon affiliate links to every article.
-
Re:Will we know chemical elements when we see them
Correct. He's a clumsy fat asshole who claims his tech co-workers never heard of Slashdot, but here he is wearing a slashdot t-shirt, presumably at a workplace.
https://ouaa.cdreimer.com/wp-c...
This bumbling oaf wants us to believe that in ten years, people completely forgot about Slashdot.
Have you tried reading any of his trite blogs, or child-like short stories? The man's a malignant narcissist, an incompetent author, a terrible blogger, even worse vlogger, and generally a procrastinating big-talking pest who never finishes a thing he sets out to do.
He gets fatter on a diet. He gets poorer after "investing". He gets worse jobs after "security certifications". The only thing that matters to him is that people are paying attention to him, any kind of attention. Why else would the mongoloid sign up so many "sock pockets"? Or have so many websites (author blog, author website, YouTube channel) with his name on them? Why not just one URL? Not for Chris!
PAY ATTENTION TO MEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
But his puffed up ego is as thinly stretched as his three sizes too small t-shirts. Make fun of him, and he reacts like an outraged middle-aged female who's no longer attractive and notices that people make fun of her now. She's no longer the center of attention.
But creimer was never the center of attention. Especially during the formative years of his childhood. There's no doubt in my mind that the man suffered a catastrophic childhood that led to almost irreparable harm to his personality.
Every post, every "sock pocket", every typo-filled grammar disaster, every outraged comment (where his mistakes get worse), every new project that never gets done ("Unemployable", publication date January 1 2018, nowhere in sight), show us a slowly unraveling mental disorder ready to explode.

If Chris says he'll publish Unemployable in January 2018, will he do it?

For someone who has a book overdue for six months, you sure have a lot of time to shitpost!
Say, how are your security certs coming along? Those a massive failure as well?
How's the weight? Pushing 450 these days?

Lol, now you know his retirement fund? (I preserved your bizarre sentence, Tardchris.)

Escaping from AlienCon 2016
I've attended AlienCon 2016 in Santa Clara, CA, which was half science fiction and UFO nutters. The science fiction half was awesome. The UFO nutters half was weird and pissed off. Too many people showed up for a panel about definitive proof of the government coverup. The panel got delayed for four hours, relocated to an empty space inside the dealer room and next to the L. Ron Hubbard display with a Psychlo spaceship reaching the ceiling. I've heard the crowd talk about pregnant women getting abortions by aliens in space and how some were planning to murder the organizer if the panel didn't get started. The UFO nutters were old white people. More than a few wore Trump campaign shirts.

Re:Spreadsheets are not a database
I would argue that the most commonly used programming language is Excel. But few of the people using it realize they're programming.
It's a brilliant reactive data programming model that makes intuitive sense to non-technical users. They feel empowered to use it to solve problems right now with a computer. They experiment with it, try things, Google how to do more things- just like any programmer does. And they feel capable of doing this because they don't know they're programming.
Within the Amazon warehouse world, I have seen incredible innovation using it. An acquaintance of mine got into development by using it to help save soldiers lives while serving in Afghanistan[0].
I agree that mission critical data needs to get out of it and into a centralized system, but I still feel Excel is an incredible tool in any business.

You are aware that his personal brand has existed for 10+ years? Author website, Blog 1, Blog 2, Blog 3, Twitter, Tumblr, and Pinterest. And that's the short list!
His posting history here would make him an instant no-hire in my book. (Assuming he had the skills for the position, His personality, transparent lying, and poor judgment would have me emphatically giving him the thumbs down)
Pull your head out of your ass! People who hire Chris the IT guy go to LinkedIn or C.D. Reimer the writer go to his author page. No one goes to Slashdot to hire anyone. Dice no longer owns Slashdot! YOU ARE THE PROBLEM!

Information about Christopher Dale Reimer and autistic people:
Autistic people have obsessions about things normal people don't care. For example, one of our autistic patient went haywire when he realized that there was a penny missing in his pocket change.
To calm him down, one of our educator pretended to have found it on the floor and gave a penny to him.
The autistic patient condition went even worse because he realized it wasn't the same penny!
Chris has an obsession with budgeting every penny. He doesn't understand that most people do not budget to the penny and have a flexible amount they allow for miscellaneous items.
I am Nancy Guerrero and I am Director of Special Education for the Santa Clara County Office of Education. We use Chris' (a.k.a. creimer, cdreimer) picture in our document because he is the hardest case we have ever had to handle:
http://www.sccoe.org/depts/stu...Our artists were inspired by the low carb diet that Christopher follows scrupulously for the small lunch box and by the picture linked below for the rest. I am sure that you will notice the similarities such as the bump on the side of his chest and more:
https://www.cdreimer.com/slash...Please be easy on Christopher although, I am aware that some of our staff handling Chris post joke comments here and obvoiusly, the Santa Clara County Office of Education disapprove that behavior vehemently:
https://school.discoveryeducat...But it isn't Chris' fault if he is the way he is. We do the best we can do with him and he is partially integrated into society. We try to cure his abnormal need for attention but he is kind of stubborn and won't listen to anybody.

Re:Idaho vs. Silicon Valley Trivia Facts
Information about pachyderms, Christopher Dale Reimer and autistic people:
