You ass-clown. This is how you spend your time? I think it just supposed to be a clever analogy to the fact that they assimilate all the competition and try to control how you use your computer. It's used here because this is a geek site, populated by many Trek fans. The analogy is still very relevent. Judging by the fact you hadn't pieced this together, you probably belong on goatse instead of slashdot.

So they are releasing 5th rate Star Trek sraight to DVD? Much like the 5 that is slashdot. 5th rate site, 5th rate editors, 5th rate news, 5th rate readership and 5th rate advertising. Good thing that this site has 1st rate trolling.

Right like microsoft really give a crap about democratic rights, true they cannie do shit about piracy and might want to get some good publicity out of this, but from what I heard they make a good buck from stifling free speech by making software for the chinese government. That was a great article! It's really suprising that atomic physics would have anything to do with the best location to have a store, and more suprising that such an effect would be limited to a single city in La Belle Pays, but, if you say so, I'll believe it! Why, LiveScience.com is probably the most reputable website dealing with issues of scientific and technological advancement availible on the entire Web. Well Done!
