A photo of the prototype
(...) During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to Toyotas ultimate car, the Hovercar, a flying Prius with enough power to fly almost 100 miles.
Here is an exclusive photograph of the prototype: http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20080316031428/starwars/images/5/54/X34-landspeeder.jpg

Lego definition of "science"
Based on my experience with Lego sets, the set will probably feature a lego shark in a cage with some kind of death ray looking thing pointed at it.
And with a more recent Lego shark, you can indeed put a frickin' laser on his head!

Re:As painful as it is...
Just because she's conscious and has a means to convey her wishes, it does not mean that other people around her will respect her wishes. For instance, they could declare her mentally challenged, unable to make correct decisions under the duress and stress of the situation, and she might be overly emotional(like all women are), and the community might make a decision for her different than what she would make for herself. Also, it's unlikely that she'd opt for suicide (unless she's Korean or Japanese), as women are the survivors of the species and males are the discardable ones, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G... , so the issue of the community wanting to keep her alive and her wanting to die instead should not arise. The issue of her wanting to live and the community wanting her to die is a weird one, as she's not a criminal, and communities spend a shitload of money on sustaining criminals, and only the gravest criminals will be put to death by the community against the individual's wish to live, and if they run out of money, they should take it from the non-selfsustaining private profit prisons that are government funded, and put it to supporting people like her. Although most of the slashdot folks here seem unversed in the topics of Borg-like brain-computer implants and interfaces http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net... (as none of us really know how the brain works, or even what sleep is), we deteriorate into this ethical discussion of cost to society and worth to live. And it's a valid discussion, as healthy prison inmates with some bogus charges of drug abuse, or even framed people for murders (Shawshank redemption is a movie about the wrong guy going to jail, and truck drivers are the most frequent serial killers, not because they have higher tendencies, but because they are so easy to frame - anyone on the shitlist of the powers to be will be herded toward a truckdriver job, given a route they have no control over, and the morgues are full of dead bodies of people with no relatives looking for them who can be used as murder framing dummies, and it's easy to frame anyone into being a murderer, especially if they are also willing to read some murder-mystery novels like "the perfect crime" or Agatha Christie type stuff, stuff that the general population loves to read anyway) might have a more valid reason to be kept alive than someone who lost brain function to the point of unable to control her lung, if we'd have to choose because of cost. But it shouldn't be a matter of cost considering the wealth of the society we live in. I'd be willing to skip eating every other day and instead give the money to supporting both the criminal and the sick on life support, and of the two the criminal is the cheaper to support, but has less value as a moral human being in being supported compared to a law abiding sick patient without lung function. By the way food is so cheap, it wouldn't be that much money. Especially the food I eat.

Re: Star Wars Sucks!
Yes, lets put a bunch of icky nerds/geeks commenting on issues they had to make broad strokes about the fan base. Ad hominem at it's best.
I had no issues with the casting or the special effects, I didn't even have an issue with the lens flare. The story, the lack of science, the piss poor characterizations & character motivations, and the re-incarnated spirit of Jar-Jar http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net... those are things I took issue with.

Re:Cause and effect may be backwards
Perhaps they became paranoid because "the man" was really out to get them.
Lets get our terms defined here. A paranoid psychotic episode is only one possible aspect of a psychosis. Perhaps the individual might experience fits of uncontrolled laughter and even the munchies, these episodes can been seen in many people who show signs of psychosis. Or individuals who smoke pot for that matter. Reality distortion during a psychotic episode is a difficult thing to quantify and can vary in degree to such an extent that qualifying every episode that requires intervention to be a psychotic one is a fools gambit.
However would you like to have someone who smokes high potency pot on a regular basis for an airline pilot? From my experience most who are heavy pot users are better suited for janitorial work or a space academy. Or a even a regular spot on reality tv shows. I personally even temporarily considered surrendering our planet to these guys while waiting for your order at KFC like I once did when considering whether or not to ask the clerk if they were having trouble plucking the chickens because the order was taking too long and I HAD THE MUNCHIES! Either way to conclude that psychosis is always manifested in paranoid delusions on the contrary, delusions are an integral part of our psychological make up as a species and can even be productive if seen in a more gentle context.

Forget R2-D2
Man, R2-D2 was such a wimp. I want a Mr. Gusty. Later on I can upgrade to the Sentry Bot. In fact, Knightscope needs to change it's name to RobCo. THAT would be awesome.

Re:Of all the things to go extinct...
...why not mosquitos?!!! The most vile, annoying creatures to ever to roam the earth!
Seems you need some education about mosquitos and "vile creatures". Mosquitos are far from vile - they are actually a VERY IMPORTANT part of the ecosystem. Without the little mosquitos, you would have less food to eat never mind all the birds and other critters that would go extinct as mosquitos are their core diet.
If you want "vile creatures" that serve no purpose but to be parasites and generally vile, please consult the following photos of some real vile creatures. Enjoy and be happy that mosquitos are the most vile thing you have to deal with.

captcha: exploitsHey, don't knock the bubble wrap. The Ark in Space was one of the best episodes they ever made! Epic as usual.
Funny how many classic Doctor Who episodes I would class as "favorite" or "best". I had the same thing happen when I first discovered the show just a few years ago. The BBC was showing a marathon of Eccleston and Tennant episodes. Every episode was so good I thought they were just showing highlight episodes or "fan favorites". I was severely disappointed when I went online to look for more episodes and realized I had just seen ALL of Eccleston and Tennant's episodes, not just the "good" ones. I've never experienced being so satisfied by so many individual episodes of any series before. Which is why it was doubly painful when I became soured on the new direction the show has taken.

Being able to choose your fun
What does "locked down" even mean in this context? I buy a game, I put it in the drive, I play the game and I have fun with it. Isn't that what gaming is about? Fun?
To some people, gaming is about being able to choose your fun. This can involve downloading and installing a mod once you tire of the vanilla game. Or it can involve installing an indie game whose developer is still seeking a publisher to bring it to the consoles. It can even involve helping to make a mod or an indie game, if that's how you swing. PC gamers can become the ruler of the fun kingdom.

Re:Provisional Title...
No... not really. They were featured in a few April Fool's Jokes, the most notable example being the Pandaran Express, announced in 2005 (modeled after the
/pizza command in Everquest 2 which actually DOES order pizza from Pizza Hut). And then in Vanilla WoW (2004) there are several references to Chen Stormstout who searches foreign lands for ingredients he can use to brew beer and his alliance with Rexxar. You don't meet him, but talk to people who did, and his personality seems similar to that featured in Mists of Pandaria. And to categorize all (or even most) Pandarans as childish fatsos would be quite ill-informed.
I guess you forgot The Founding of Durotar. Chen was a toon you could play in Warcraft 3 and he played quite a big part in it.

Re:Provisional Title...
Pandarens were mentioned in the lore before Kung Fu Panda, but that's about it. A mention. They certainly were not the childish fatsos they turned out to be... that happened AFTER Kung Fu Panda.
