    Your best evidence for this government intrusion into our lives is a 5 year old Will Smith movie? Are you planning on pointing to Independence Day next as evidence for how dangerous computer virus' are?

    Nope... Terminator 3 . So what if it starred the gov of California instead of the Prince of Bel-Air, it was a Scary Movie....

    There are a lot of nice features there, and it's a very attractive package and all. But a common criticism that I've heard is that the new T3 sometimes forgets that it can run.

    According to this article, Japan's population in 2050 will be half of what it is today (120M to 60M). That will make room for the robots, avoiding unpleasant alternatives.

    In addition to the official T3 website (which is pretty deep content-wise), the terminator people have an interesting site up that allows you to take a 2D picture of your face, extrude it into 3D and then damage it to see an endoskeleton inside. Pretty cool. Check it out. Does anyone know what technology is used to A recognize the face and then to extrude it so that the head can be rotated 360 degrees?

    I was under the impression that T3 was going to tell the story of Skynet coming on-line and the war

    As far as I can see that is exactly what it is. Notice the shots of the small flying robot and this one. I'll bet that what's going on is that Skynet is online and building an army to wipe out humanity. For some reason it couldn't launch a nuke strike so its going about domination some other way. The T-X is sent buy the future skynet to protect its younger self.

    You're right, I never did notice that. Except it looks like he will have eyebrows in T3.

    Either way, there's been a script floating around the net for like 5 years now (perhaps longer?). I'm so dissapointed that they're not using it, and that they're using the same story again with a "terminatrix" that I probably won't see it until it rolls around to video. For those of you unfamiliar, the script that's been floating around had T3 take place entirly in the future durring the metal wars.
