Not buying it. I've seen all of your points but they're mostly nonsense and half of them apply to her as well ("deplorables").

Re:Stopping crime is criminal?
The Hatch Act is a ban on using one's office for partisan gain. It doesn't require the FBI to shut down active criminal investigations just because the Democratic party happened to nominate someone under investigation.
If anything, the FBI Director has been taking Hillary's side on this. They didn't charge her even after this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
Why is Hillary different than Martha Stewart?

Apple is a software company
Jobs and now Tim Cook are just "queer eye for the queer guy" marketers with no unique features in their devices whatsoever.
You mean except for all the software which you cannot get from anyone but Apple.
This is what people don't seem to get about Apple. Apple is a software company. Don't take my word for it because Steve Jobs is the one that said it. Software is what makes their products different. Apple's hardware is barely different from their competition aside from some fit and finish details. People buy Apple gear and pay a premium for it because of their software. It's why they are so profitable and why their margins strongly resemble those of Microsoft rather than Dell. What makes Apple kind of unique as a software company is that they will not sell you the software as a standalone product in most cases. They only sell it with a (usually good quality) piece of hardware optimized to use their software.

Re:Nothing to hide != Nothing to fear
I'm honest, so it doesn't matter.
Apparently you are naive too. Just because you have nothing to hide does not mean you have nothing to fear. It is VERY easy for a lawyer or law enforcement to make even innocent sounding statements into something incriminating. Your honesty may not be any protection and in fact might serve as "evidence" to hang you with.
This is only a problem if you're a dishonest scumbag.
You REALLY need to watch this video about why you should never talk to the police.
I know to never talk to the police. However, if there's a valid subpoena for information that I have I will turn it over. That's the legal thing to do.
And note that if I didn't do that I'd end up with consequences. Unlike Hillary, someone would prosecute me.

I wasn't even going to touch on his assertion that voting for Trump was basically his litmus test for insanity.

Re:The DOJ did as well
YouTube advanced to the next video on me. I meant to post this one instead:
-
Re:The DOJ did as well
Even if you somehow claim the email server was above board (it wasn't), how do you excuse lying to Congress?
Here, this explains pretty well all the problems with it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?... -
Re:No Shit
> There's a man who rapes children and there's a woman who had people run a private mail server for her.
The rape thing is so ridiculous that even Jezebel doesn't buy it, let alone others. Suggested reading from people who are definitely not in favor of Trump:
http://jezebel.com/the-source-...
https://popehat.com/2016/10/31...The "email server" thing goes way deeper than you realize. There have been far too many things in there for me to summarize. I suggest here as a starting place to look into this, but
/r/wikileaks has been analyzing it continuously: http://www.mostdamagingwikilea...The prosecution of this is weird as hell. Here's Congress trying to understand the FBI's initial lack of prosecution due to "lack of intent" -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?...And finally, of all the child rapist claims, the one we're best able to substantiate is Bill Clinton's flights on the "Lolita Express" with a convicted pedophile (Epstein) without the Secret Service present. Now there's no proof of what he did and didn't do and a lot of people, including hundreds of famous people, were on that same flight with the same guy, including Trump on one occasion long before his pedophilia was publicly known. So it's kinda ironic that you're more worried about a sham lawsuit based on anonymous witnesses by an ex-Jerry Springer producer known for starting wild lawsuits that went nowhere who hates Trump.
There was also the Todd & Claire scam against Julian Assange recently as well and that's been pretty well proven to be utter BS. The whole site was fake, the UN "partnership" was nonsense (you just have to claim to agree to certain principles) and got revoked, the entire site was completely fake and made with ripped off, mirrored images (to avoid reverse image search--you can see backwards text in some) and all around sketchy as hell.
FWIW, I'm not terribly inclined to believe any of these, but if I had to put money on one panning out, I'd say there's some low chance of Clinton's trips with Epstein being real dirt. He has a lot of ties with them and the Clinton Foundation, though I haven't seen any clear evidence tying them to his pedo ways just yet. Yes, FBI Anon has been right in the past, but we should demand more proof before believing something like this about anyone.
-
Re:Hard to believe
And here's a great video to go along with your reading of that law. The FBI Director is on the stand here, under oath, being grilled about their handling of this case:
-
Re:The DOJ did as well
You might want to read some of the FOIA dumps coming out of the FBI.
This video gives a pretty good rundown of all the ways this prosecution was weird as hell. This is Congress grilling the FBI about their handling of the case.

Re:No Shit
What? That Trump is a Russian operative?
Absolutely! The Russians also infiltrated Hillarys brain and convinced her to set up a private email server. Podesta's too - the Russians convinced him to set his password to 'p@ssw0rd'. Yep, it was the Russians and not the fact that Podesta is an @ssh0le and accessory to murder.
The Russians also duplicated state department emails from Huma Abedin onto Carlos Danger's laptop. Yep, the Russians...
There is no precedent for a guy that makes weird sounds and posts provocative tweets having a chance of becoming POTUS. The other side has to be so completely unelectable as to win it for them. With the help of the Russians no doubt?
-
Re:Leftism as usual
Politicians with these open borders policies need to be investigated for ties to Saudi Arabia. There's something very wrong going on here, and if there's a Huma Abedin in a position of influence in other Western countries, this is an act of war that demands retaliation.

Re:"Based on consumer input"
Whenever anyone says they want some kind of product "based on consumer input", what springs instantly to mind is the Homermobile.
Instead of designing a product base don what customers think they want, Apple is doing what they always do - thinking ahead, and saying what will customers NEED. What Apple has built will be more useful over the next few years than what you would rather they have built...
I kind of doubt that actually.
I suspect that's what Apple thinks they're doing. But in practice I mostly see what appears to be cargo-cultish mimicry of their historic successes. Notably they seem confused about the distinction between pro and consumer grade products and keep trying to chase the consumer market with their pro line. Trying to make them slimer and lighter, and removing "unneeded" ports, or "streamlining" the software. The end result is something too limited for pros, and over-priced for consumers.
They should go back to the pro line is top spec machines you only buy if your job is something like "sound engineer" or "photographer" and should include any common standard port used in those target industries, while the consumer line is the simplified and streamlined computer for somone who is willing to pay for "just works so I can spend time making my scrapbook/webcomic/garage band-album/etc. not tinkering with my computer".
Right now they're trying to get pros to buy consumer grade products, or consumers to buy pro priced products. And that's going to fall apart eventually.

Well now. That's certainly one way of conveying "Fuck You, that's why."
Imagine if this mentality were brought to the housing industry. You would live in a home without panes of glass (deemed optional), and doorknobs would be replaced with magnetic locks that require a proprietary RFID card to operate.
Imagine if this mentality were brought to the food industry. Flavors and colors you previously knew and love would randomly be replaced with proprietary spices, and reports of people projectile vomiting would have to wait to be resolved with the next release of iFlavorEnhancer.

Re: Tougher....
Let's see how well they hold up to hurricane force winds and the debris that comes with it.
You mean like the shingles wandering around in this video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
Perhaps we should live in caves on top of mountains.
Let's take note of the weight of the system and make sure your roof frame is designed to hold it.
Ever see how a lot of cheap contractors re-shingle a roof? they just keep adding layers. A truss frame is remarkably strong, and the weight is transferred to the walls, and in even stick-built houses, I've seen 5 story builds. So the weight transferred to the vertical walls better be able to take the weight of solar panels. I'm not expecting an entire two extra stories plus a roof to stress the capacity of a normal stickbuilt place of two stories plus solar panels.
Lastly, let's note the costs and realize these are toys for rich people. It will be quite some time before it is affordable for everyone else.
Your point? Things shouldn't happen unless the poorest of us can afford it? We wouldn't have much then.

I know MN - it'll work.
MN gets about as much solar as Germany. That means the payback will take a while, mostly because electricity is quite cheap in MN vs Germany. Solar gardens are beginning to form in MN already but Xcel is jerking them around.
3M glass coatings can turn ordinary windows into almost bullet proof windows. See the youtube demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
Musk is using 3M glass coatings. The PV cells likely will not break from hail but the glass may crack up. Future refined 3M coatings will perform even better than this application of their existing tech. The coatings go on the inside of the glass from my understanding so these tiles will last for decades - without cracks expect them to go a century and I'd figure the cells would still output (at maybe 50%. I've read about 1970s PV performing at 70%.) Also, a high roof angle helps deflect impacts; evacuated solar tubes are glass and I hear they handle hail just fine.
SNOW is an issue in MN; however, have you seen smooth steel roofing up in northern MN? It is quite often free of snow cover and it wouldn't be too difficult to clear it off. My parent's cabin had a brown steel roof and it almost always was warm enough from the sun to encourage the snow to slide right off. With the proper solar slope (45deg) that is probably steep enough. Furthermore, these are dark blue silicon cells with a glass cover. They will get warm from the sun; like a green house and since MOST solar energy is lost by reflection or as IR heat... the more that is trapped the better. Heavy snow falls will likely require some work but light snows and ice will not be an issue. People in MN should know what a snow rake is already. Small labor price to pay -- and again, it won't be as often as you think.

Re: breaking news
Has any escape system ever deployed in practice?
Well... kind of. The Little Joe was set to test the Saturn V launch escape system by commanding it to set off at a certain point in the flight. However, a gyro on the Little Joe was attached the wrong way about, causing the rocket to go out of control during ascent and break apart in a completely unintentional and unplanned manner. This broke the continuity wires, which triggered the LES to fire in a real and unplanned breakup scenario, which worked perfectly.
